that ending was GREAT. the last words before she shred her hand sound as iconic as the “yeah well fuck you too” from the thing, and the head split AND barf was gross! keep up the good work ALTER!

Holy shit! For the first time ever a puke scene in a horror was perfectly placed and I love that you broke the fourth wall with the "gross" comment. I didn't even want to watch this because I have been paranoid in the recent years that I had parasites...yet I watched it and let me say..."it was brilliant on so many levels". I love the demons feed on fear (cuz they do). I found it funny that the portrait made me think of Tom Cruise and now I am thinking Tom Cruise is a ringworm...though when the wheelchair guy got back to looking like the portrait I didn't see Tom Cruise look at all...so I don't know. I loved that when she put her finger through the grinder it was the metal that seemed to burn the bugs...like they sizzled. I love the "I said no" and obviously she was addressing the fear too but I just thought the sound when they hit metal was so awesome. I know it's stainless steel but there are metals like copper that fight parasites so maybe stainless steel has something too. The acting was amazing. I also didn't realize how adorable the boyfriend was under all those curls and then when the curls were off his face I was like "he's so sweet". She is pretty lovely looking too. Anyway they did their jobs down to a T and I loved the jumpscare with the ringworm biting her. That actually made me jump.

@@lightningrose3654 4th wall breaks can be more than addressing the audience directly. They are literally anything that breaks the fourth wall....so saying "gross" to something that everybody always states "it's gross, is another puke scene in a horror movie necessary?" is breaking the fourth wall.

I was expecting something different. I was expecting her to be infected by some worms she got from drinking the milk and then gradually deteriorate and die and the worms would eventually infect him too. Honestly these "cult" films aren't that scary to me. I'm not saying it was a bad film, it was awesome, I just didn't think it was that scary.
