Just to answer some questions from the live chat: Yes I was wearing a cooling vest which melted within about 10 minutes. Was also wearing a fan. We hydrated beforehand and after. Yes I really do know Adrian Belew, I executive produced Treehouse by Ned Evett with Adrian as producer. I am also close friends with his bassist Julie Slick and am auntie to her dog Billie. It's hard to say what the venom smells like. Mostly by the time there is venom around I am smelling spray adhesive or undercoating. I am not afraid at all when surrounded by bees. I don't know why. I have not been stung. The guys are as passionate about saving our native pollinators and as passionate about safety when the cameras are off as they are on livestreams. Bee brain starts long before the cameras are rolling. I'm wearing a don't rag under my hat because sweat kept getting in my eyes and my ears kept touching the net. Not the best look but don't care. Kiki- it's a dry heat but at those temperatures it's just like an oven.

Great job MT with the reporting. I worked a year in St Louis,MO at a horse barn. It too felt like you were in an oven.

@medtek That's cool. Hope you have a fun time on those trips as well. BTW, I have family in Washington state. My son lives in Olympia, and my older sister lives in Sequim. Back in the late 1980'S, I used to live in Port Angeles. Stay safe out there with the "boys", I bet you've had a great time. I'm so jealous. LOL 😆 🤣

See if you can buy a pair of glove liners they might have them in a drug store... I used to have a home in AZ and it is WAY too hot for me there!!!

I think Rain that the amount of sweat my hands are putting out under the gloves and big blues would soak glove liners and make them heavy and cumbersome. I HATE the big blues.
