Horseradish leaves can be eaten at all times of the year, but admittedly the younger leaves are easier going down. I like to use large leaves as a wrap substitute, quite sturdy and adds a great spice. Cooking them down they make a fine substitute for collards, kale.

Thanks. The greens? I just use them the same way as cabbage or kale. Shredded then lightly steamed

Hi could you possibly do a video on harvesting pine pollen next spring, only there’s no UK KZfaq videos on this. I heard it contains over 200 vitamins and minerals.

I have a plant in my garden that looks very similar to horseradish with the serated leaf edges but it has spines up the underside of the leaf stem. There are quite a few and they have spontaneously appeared this year. Any ideas what they could be? Cheers.

@@UKWILDCRAFTS cool. I'm growing both. I'll also be growing honesty for its mustardy seeds. I got wild fennel and self-heal yesterday, honesty, herb Robert, and pineapple weed today, and tomorrow I'm after wild garlic. In my garden my raspberries are ripe, redcurrants too, and apples are thriving.

If you're actually able to grow real wasabi, sell it, it is extremely expensive.
