Humans are different than horses. They dont feel pain because of thick skin and other. Dont try to think that humand and horses in the same. Horses adapt to their lives and this is why the horse doesn't kick the owner.

@Dragon Heart yeah I saw a different video and asked if it hurts and people explained to me that a horse's hoof is like a fingernail and doesn't have nerves. The horse probably feels better to be cleaned. Like imagine if your fingernail was like really dirty and you finally cleaned it

that is usually NOT the case, lol. this horse has probably done this many many times and is used to it as usually only working horses get shoes, but all horses do at least need basic hoof care and maintenance to keep healthy feet and therefore still need farrier visits too on occasion.

Depends on the horse really, some breeds grow their hooves faster than others. It’s also in a horse by horse basis, we have a horse who’s hooves grow like crazy and another who as long as they don’t throw a shoe, meaning the shoe pulls out somehow, we don’t have to shoe them but once every 2 months or so.

I dont think they can feel the clipping itself because there are no nerves in their hoof, but im sure once they walk or stand on it it feels so much better
