Craig Ferguson is a late-night legend and a terrific guy. But according to Star magazine, the last time Katie and Craig spoke they were in the middle of a big celebrity feud. Now Craig joins Katie in Hollywood to clear the air.

he isnt acting "American"... he is American... Craig went through the process of becoming a US citizen, because he loves the country so much.

...And I always listen to him, so I don't know how that's possible. It's just he's doing more of that high-pitched, lamenting characteristic of the accent. The keyword there was "more." On his show, he just tries to sound gruffer every now and then is all.

It's probably because it's a calmer more serious conversation than the wild stuff he usually does in the Late Late Show. Naturally that would bring out the "lamenting characteristic of the accent".
