Nothing like Craigy laughing a bit.
In the spirit of "Best of Craig Ferguson Laughing" videos uploaded by friskynixon, as well as the bits uploaded by Eduardo Carvalho and brghubarb, I decided to put together some moments of Craig cracking up throughout 2014. Hope you like them as much as I did!
To clarify what some people have asked in the comments:
The actress telling the story about Jeff Goldblum is Lauren Cohan.
The guest Craig was introducing during the Fresh Meadows part was Jane Lynch.

One of the funniest things Craig ever did on one of his shows (10:00 mark in this video) was stand next to Geoff and tell the audience he was thinking of turning the program in to a kid's show... and then did a hilarious creepy grin... It made this man cry from laughing! The man is a comedic GENIUS.

I used to watch the show on my DVR because I work for a living. I had so many of them saved that I was in danger of running out of room. I miss him so much. No other host comes close. Especially the guy who took over. If I were ever lucky enough to meet Mister Ferguson, I would tell him how much joy I got from that show. I knew every time I watched it, it was going to be comedy gold. Thanks Craig for all the laughs.

Mr. Chip Whitley Why?
@MsJaiMae
@MsJaiMae 5 жыл бұрын
Der Marlon Long story short, Conan got screwed over by NBC. According to wikipedia here the reason: The 2010 Tonight Show conflict was a media and public relations conflict involving American television network NBC and two of its then-late-night talk show hosts, Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno. Leno, the host of long-running franchise The Tonight Show since 1992, and O'Brien, host of Late Night since 1993, were strong ratings leaders for the network for much of the decade. When O'Brien's contract neared its end and he was courted by other networks in 2001, NBC extended his contract and guaranteed him he would be the fifth host of The Tonight Show. The network neglected to let Leno know this until his contract extension in 2004, when they informed him he would remain host for five more years and then transition the show to O'Brien in 2009. When that time arrived, other networks conveyed interest in Leno; NBC, in an effort to keep both of its late-night stars, offered Leno a nightly primetime show before the local news and O'Brien's Tonight Show. The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and The Jay Leno Show failed to attract immediate viewers, and NBC affiliates, seeing their viewership decline, grew restless. NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Zucker, alongside chairman Jeff Gaspin and executive Rick Ludwin, created a remedy: move Leno back to his 11:35 pm start time and bump O'Brien a half-hour later, to 12:05 am. O'Brien and his staff were both disappointed and furious; when it became clear O'Brien would not agree to the proposed changes, the situation grew heated. Though not a breach of either host's contract, the change resulted in a public outcry and public demonstrations largely in support of O'Brien. O'Brien's public statement that he would "not participate in the destruction of The Tonight Show" led to negotiations with NBC for a settlement. O'Brien and his staff received US$45 million to walk away from the network, with his final Tonight Show airing January 22, 2010; Leno was reinstated as host that March, while after a contractual seven-month ban on appearing on television, O'Brien moved to TBS to host Conan. The controversy surrounding the scheduling move and the reinstatement of Leno was described by media outlets as "embarrassing" for the network and a "public relations disaster".

Idk how many times ive watched this compilation. It makes me laugh every single time. This show was truly one of the greatest thing to ever happen to TV. Especially once Geoff became alive. Improv comedy heaven is what it is. The witty banter between them without being beige and full of themselves. Knowing where the line is, tip toeing on it and maybe even snort it.... the horse does that for sure. However, I do suggest watching the whole show. Believe me theres billions of sheer nonsense humor bits by these 2 and some guests. And you get the whole experience. The cold open, the monologue, tweets and email, guest intros and guest and the final 'what did we learn tonight Craig' ending bit. It's all available on KZfaq and just pick a random one so you can see it for yourself how insanely original and one of a kind it is. The worst episodes of this show is still infinitely better than today's PC corporate pandering woke soulless shows. And the best ones? Like with Robin Williams, Billy Connolly, Ricky Gervais etc, it's classic, gold and a gift to the world. 50 or even 500 years from now, it will still be funny and entertaining. I'd bet my life on that.

@@georgemarcouxjr6192 I dont think it ever will. This show was a rarity and so unique for so many reasons. It aged like fine wine, took years to get this crazy and "free range comedy" wise. 1. It was owned by David Letterman as CBS gave him the time slot during the Conan-Leno debacle when he renewed with them and Letterman, to his credit let Craig do his own thing as much as possible. No one other than Dave himself has the final say and he saw the genius Craig is. 2. Craig is done with it. He has consistently said that since he left Late Night. He did his 10 years and was done. Gotta respect him for that. He came, conquered and left like a boss. Didn't overstay and make a parody of himself or catch up with others. He was Punk Rock to the core. 3. The vomit inducing PC woke culture of today will cancel it in 1 week if it was aired today. Craig never played the pandering preachy ass kissing game. He made fun of left, right, up, down, you, me, himself and everything else in between. A true entertainer who used his wit to charm tf out of us all. He was a master at improv comedy as well and dark humor. Which is all not allowed today. Not on TV at least. Maybe a subscription thing or podcast could do it but I think he's done for it all. 4. Geoff Peterson. He's basically the wild card. Instead of being a "yes man", he was the double act. Josh Robert Thompson was given even more freedom by Craig and he bloody took it to 11 with sheer talent. That's just 4 big reasons why a revamped wouldn't work. It can happen only once. "This might be greatest talk show ever" - Ricky Gervais
