One of my student's mum was in that plane. She called her kids before boarding and promised them goodies and all that. She was 6/7 Next day, she's picked from school that her mum has had a crash. She is still my student, she has never been the same. Ever.

@@thelitcoach0202you need to counsel her when you are free, you need to show her that sometimes life is unfair to be fair, when one door is closed the good lord open the new and better one for us but more often we failed to realise the open one because we stuck back focusing on the closed door. If you let your student grow with the feelings of emptiness, then, you will be part of whatever problem she will have in future based on the same event. I always says, what mark will I left behind when I am gone, even if changing the life of one stranger without looking back for rewards or praises. Sometimes, the little things that we do means a lot than doing greater things for self gain. The kids needs help. Try to reach her guardian, or father and share with them the impact and the situation and discuss how you can help the little girl overcome the sorrow. I know how it feels to lose your beloved person.
