he's one of best ever. in the first act when he walked out of the fort with his revolver when against his will was ordered to take them on this journey that primal yell of rage and frustration and after this battle the traumatized eyes of chaos when he turns around its just amazing the emotion and realness he portrays. i would absolutely love it if they could show joe blockers earlier days of battles against the natives and when chief yellow hawk was in his prime filling slop buckets.

I build fence for a living, and I can tell you that when you run into this kind of person, out in the middle of no where, you're definitely on guard. They could kill you and bury you and no one would ever know.

But he is in the right after all. Its his land. Regardless of how immoral or cruel his decision to not allow the burial to take place there, that is his choice to make. Unless the land was taken from others illegally that is. Obviously the smart thing to do would be to turn around and let things be, but the hatred between white people and natives was pretty bad at this point, especially for those on the frontier who were filled with tales of each side's cruelty.

That's the key point, whose land was it before it was taken by settlers? The continued use of the word "landowner" is likely very misleading in this instance.

Only 40% could complete the process of obtaining land. The government could also take it if it thought it could be put to better use within 5 years or if it deemed you weren't turning a profit.
