It's amazing to see an Mk5 Polo WRC go around the Nurburgring track. Mk5 VW Polo GT 1.0L TSI with 110hp is India's gold standard for car handling. there are Polos with 150Hp to 180Hp running reliably, yes from 1.0L engine. hoping to see those cars go around the track.

Also, Misha at one point described it as “floaty”, an issue I also had with my WRC. I found that changing the rear axle pivot bushes to SuperPro and adding H&R anti-roll bars removed this completely - I would go as far as saying it transformed the car..

@@rayco82 front and rear, the front is set and forget, the rear has 3 settings and mine is set in the “middle” setting

@@supremecamels7736 thx. I ordered my rear arb just based on your comment. Just thinking if i need the front. Cause fwd actually benefits mostly with just rear arb.

@@rayco82 There have been plenty of discussions regarding ARB fitment, some believe a thinner ARB at the front aids turn in, others believe that both the front and rear should match otherwise you’ll end up with either an oversteering or understeering chassis… I fitted mine as a set, so I can’t comment on the handling with only the rear fitted. My thoughts are that H&R only seemed to sell them as a set so they should be fitted as one.. Also (sorry to go on 😅) if you’ve not already done so, make sure to change your front wishbone pivot bushes to superpro ones also… the standard bushes are so soft, you can see the front wheels move backwards when braking in a straight line… if these are stock you can imagine what happens to your front end geometry when hard cornering..

Fantastic driving as always! That little polo picked up SO quickly in the mid range. Great little car. Would have loved to have been in one of the slower bits of traffic when a 360 scuderia passes you followed by a Cayman, GT3 RS and then a little white Polo screams past right behind chasing them down 🤣🤣🤣

Crazy little car, nice lap though. Missing the rear view camera though, pedal cam less important imo but I'm happy to admit I've never looked back to manual after getting a car with a DCT box.

I think you’ll find the steering will be lighter if you fit 17” wheels (or so I found) Those standard 18’s are very heavy and a nightmare to find decent tyres for as they are a strange size 😅

I had the same tire on my Focus ST170 Estate, Michelin PSS in the smallest 17 inch size. I really wish tire manufacturers would still cater to smaller wheel diameters for performance tires...

I loved my '94 Corolla E10 1.6 16v! It didn't have power steering, and you'd feel everything through the steering wheel, the tiniest loss of grip in a corner you'd feel so good!! A big difference with my parents' '97 Corolla E10 1.6 16v with power steering..., you'd have no feeling at all! (great with parking though...)

I love the fact that Misha gets the bit in his teeth when the Ferrari is in front and works to get on him and make a pass. I used to do the very same in an old 78 Honda hatch back that was bo e stock but for SS braided break lines, full metalic pads, wide alloy low profile wheels and tires. No HP but I could out break and carry so much speed thru the turns that I could reel in just about any car with three times the HP. Another fantastic lap Misha! You have the best job ever!
