This is an easy hot chocolate mix recipe right from pantry ingredients. This makes a large batch. It is creamy, chocolate-y, and delicious. You control the ingredients to make this a healthy hot cocoa mix for yourself or your kids.
Recipe:
- 2 cups pure cane sugar (blend to make powdered sugar)
- 2 cups nonfat dry milk
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. arrowroot powder or cornstarch
1. Pour all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
2. Put in an airtight container.
To make the hot chocolate: Add 1/4-1/2 cup of cocoa mix to 1 cup of hot water or milk. Mix until fully dissolved. Enjoy.
