I always see the RS3 brought up in 4BW reviews. So GMs hot shoe did a 2.52, Motortrend got a 2.54. The tire has the balance of good dry grip and decent tread wear. The Audi RS3 does a 3:01. That's pretty definitive. But you can put on tires with a tread wear rating of what, 80-150 and run a 2:52. I hope this doesn't make people think the RS3 is now the faster car. These cars can align in price, the BlackWing starts at $60k and has the go fast stuff standard. You can put track day tires on it if you'd like. I have Cup2s on a car in my stable and it gets sideways on the highway in light rain just changing lanes when hitting painted lines. The PS4s TPC is a very street friendly tire.

CT-4 is better race car hands down. Built as a swan song to Manual RWD ICE based cars.

CT4V Q- what helmet do you have? My open face snell doesn’t really fit in car with sun roof and i am 5”9. Just curious.

All these cars are amazing. For a daily the RS3 is my pick as its fun everywhere. For a track car the M4 or the Blackwing.

I had a new RS3 for 5 months. I was slightly disappointed by it. Went back to a 2020 M2CS

@timmietz the New RS3 that just came out is far different. So if it's not the new 2023 car then it doesn't apply. This has been covered by Jason Camisa on Hagerty.

@@eichler721 no, I have the brand new one my new generation car. Mine was on the first boat I in late June 2022. We took delivery in early July 2022 again, don’t get me wrong, it was a good car, just not a great one. but, I am very spoiled. And I just traded in the RS three, along with four other cars for a 2022 812GTS.

@timmietz well sorry you didn't like it. I drove one and it was great but needed a new 3500 Diesel for work and towing so had to buy that instead. This year I might get a new car.

The Pirelli P-Zeros aren't even an option on the RS3 in the US. They come with Potenza Sports. The car set the compact car record on the Nürburgring with the Trofeo Rs, so I think it's safe to say that is the one it is tuned for. That's a part of why there is a large gap. This car wasn't made for P-Zeros. They tire upgrade also costs way more than $450 from base. You need $7,700 in total options.

Probably not, it's hard to imagine that car manufacturers set the car up for Trofeo R or any 40tw compound. Trofeo R is probably too much tire even with most aggressive suspension alignment

Maybe I’m reading your comment wrong but rs3 come with pzero’s in the USA. The trofeo was a $450 dollar option if you ordered.

@rickeydwhitfield I did not do it yet. I really do like the performance in my RS3 it's just not as comfortable as that Cadillac. Then going from Quattro to 2 wheel drive. I think I will want to own both. There's just no comparison really. Lol

The beauty of the ct4 blackwing is that is is cheaper to buy and own than the base m3/4, plus is the better handling, steering, manual gbox, and overall performing car, and has the superior ride to make it the better daily car. The bmw inline 6 is clearly the better engine and one of the best engines out there anywhere.

The m4 csl is almost as fast as a gt500 in a straight line yet is 3 seconds slower lol what happened
