Dear Dr., I know this is years later, but this treatment has made a tremendous difference!! My dog was suffering horribly, getting no sleep at night, same with me. She was barking and growling all night, I was getting complaints from the neighbors and I was totally at my wits end, until I came across your video and I was desperate enough to try anything, but, I saw an immediate difference. The vet has commented on the difference, and, miracle of miracles, the spred, that had been out of control, has pretty much stopped. And, for the first time in months, I am starting to get some full nights sleep.

Have just treated my dogs severe tummy rash from swimming daily, rolling in grass and dreadful humidity here in Sydney Australia. I cleansed with chlorhex, rinsed well and applied your tea mix with 1 aspirin.(53 ,pound Belgian) kept cold in fridge. The results over night are a vast improvement. No vet required. Please advise how much aspirin is absorbed through skin as i know can be toxic to dogs. This is truly miraculous!

Thanks for the good tips! My dog has (had) a hotspot on her neck, and I did the tea thing, as well as applied unrefined coconut oil on my dog's hotspot right before bedtime. In about 2-1/2 weeks the spot looks great. The oozing stopped and it's drying out nicely. About halfway through the healing, it developed nice scabs which fell off during the process. Wonderful!

My goldens had a hot spot close to his mouth like the one in the picture for a month now… it started the beginning of the month and when we brought him to the vet about 2 weeks ago they gave him a cortisone shot and antibiotics. A week past and it seemed to have spread to the top of where he had it before. Brought him back to the vet this Tuesday and they did the same thing. Did the tea method really help? I’m getting worried as how it seems to start healing then starts oozing again. I feel like it’s never going to get better. I’ve had him on the donut cone and the regular cone too while I’m at work
@navigatormother7023
@navigatormother7023 2 жыл бұрын
@@Danifoxx8 Why don't you use Doctor Jones' tea and aspirin as a topical treatment after the antibiotics and steroids treatment, to cover all your bases. If you haven't tried it before now it can only help. I drink green tea and was thinking of maybe using that if the black was too strong. But for your pup, obviously the medications aren't maintaining a healing process if the hot spot keeps breaking out again. Remember he uses it twice or several times a day for several weeks or as long as needed. Good luck and all the best. Also, I'm going to get some Rescue remedy for my daughter's dog, for when he's distressed about anything. Two drops per ten pounds, and one aspirin for anti- inflammation. Inflammation seems to be a problem in a lot of problems these days... auto immune system response I think.

@@Danifoxx8 hey! My dog is having the same problem and we have cleaned his wound for the past 2 days. Do you know how long it takes for him to start getting better?
@Danifoxx8
@Danifoxx8 Жыл бұрын
@@RAWRIMAP4NDA honestly I forgot how long it took… the vet had shaved off all the hair around Jaxson’s face/neck area. So I was able to apply the black tea and aspirin at least twice a day. I also put the cone of shame on him so he wasn’t able to scratch himself while I was gone at work and that helped a lot. I want to say a good week before things got better and dried up and wasn’t oozing anymore!

My Shih-tzu ha severe allergies that have gotten worse as he aged & he is on a vegan dog food because he is allergic to animal protein, but he just had another flare up that has been going on for over a month! It's cost me tons of money on vet bills ( he's worth it) but we still can't find what's doing it & allergy shots didn't work for him. Aloe calms & heals the spots but a fat as one heals, there's another one to deal with. ...please help!

What I am worried about is that his hot spot below his infected ear has a lot of crud on it and I can’t shave him because I’m afraid. Should I just keep using the tea and aspirin until it comes loose, then shave him? Also I am giving him Curcumin 95% . Thank you.

Hi, my golden retriever is 74lbs and currently has a hotspot going from her breastbone upto base of throat. Area has been shaved and vet has prescribed a saline wash 2 daily followed by isaderm (fucidine) once area air dried twice daily. I will follow this med for 1wk before moving onto more natural as she’s stressed out enough with this. I think it’s either from mosquitoes or damp leather collar after swimming and then lying in the grass to dry out. I would like to give her flaxseed to support skin in there are any allergies. Would one glycerin filled capsule strength 1000mg be suitable for her? Thanks from the UK.

I have found coconut oil topically helps as long as the skin is not broken.

I keep my dog shaved short but he always gets hotspots in the summer from swimming. Around his neck where the collar sits he has skin folds and that's where he gets it. But only in the summer. I can get it to clear up but then the next week it comes back again. Do you have any tips for the swimming to prevent the hotspot from forming. He is a Newfoundland mix and loves the water so keeping him out is not an optikn

Great information, thank you. If only my dog would hold still that well. He freaks any time I touch his tail, even just to look at what possibly be a hot spot. He's never had one of these before so I thought maybe it was a spider bite or something, but what you described and the pics, seems to be what it might be. I'll try this and hopefully, he'll hold still :)
