Thank you for your quiet in the woods videos. It's hard to find anymore. Normally, I mute and closed caption to watch a video. It's just not fair someone enjoying their time in nature in quiet solitude but supplying the viewer with incessant background music. But you got it right. Just the sounds of setting up camp, twigs crunching under foot through a long hike, then back to camp to make a crackling fire to cook up a fine dinner. It's not much better than that. I'm sure your little Roxy appreciates it, too.

Much as I love your hike in camping trips. I am so impressed with how well you have rigged out your truck! Took me a few minutes to remember who Treebeard was, but it has been a while since I saw the movies or read the books. Roxy looks like a mini wookie or ewok in her jacket. The best pillow is to use a simple pillow case and stuff it with your "down" jacket. I used this method many times when trekking the Himalayas in Nepal.

Love this vid, you are the first person on here I've seen use a pocket bellows and I can't understand why, it's such a small and light piece of kit, and SO helpful... one suggestion tho, try mixing your instant coffee with about a half cup of cold or lukewarm water then add the scalding... that way you get hot instant coffee without the burnt taste. Thanks for the share!
