I feel like Capt Carter should have been taller than Spider-Man

I had the same idea yesterday and snagged a realistic heads sculpt on eBay on the off chance it will fit. I’m so glad it does! Thanks for showing us this!

She was my favorite part of the animated series so I was really excited for her. Aside from being way too short and skinny, the head sculpt is phenomenal. Marvel Legends got her bulk and height much better especially when you compare her to the other figures in the ML catalog. Ah well. Pros: Fantastic headsculpt and paint job. Nicely detailed accessories. Can wear shield on arm or back and can pose for throwing. Great looking costume. 2 different partial hair sculpts. Cons: Body and proportions not screen accurate to the animated series. Costume is mostly one jumpsuit piece and very stiff/rigid. Shield straps are super delicate. Hair sculpts a bit finicky to get to pop flush to her scalp to hide connection points. 7.9/10 recommended.

Personally, I really think it looks awesome! Just looking at the headswap, I prefer the animated look. I like the mix of animated and realistic looking accessories. Great review

It's a gorgeous headsculpt and a fantastic depiction of the animated style. The sideshow animated clone wars sculpts should have been this quality!

Thank you for your insights on this figure. I'm very pleased with the "toon" style of this figure. The extra detailing may have been added to please those who were going to use a more realistic head sculpt. I can't wait to add this and the Hydra Stomper to my collection. I noticed the packaging included an illustration of Star Lord T'Challa. I'm hoping Hot Toys will announces him and Zombie Cap soon!

I think this looks great. I have had a bit of an itch to pick it up but was worried it might not fit in the collection due to the style difference. Thank you for trying the JX head! Great to know that is an option. I think I will go for this now knowing it looks great out of the box but that I also have that option.

I must say I really like the box art a lot and the figure does look a little better in person.

She's really not a figure I'd need in my collection, but she's so perfectly sculpted! The face and the leather details! Wow! (Even though it's not _realistic_ it's perfect for the animated style.)

Hi Justin, I am very much learning towards getting this! Being English, the Union Jack is a big pull, just the head sculpt slightly putting me off. You are correct in your answer regarding the Union Jack and I know Australia's rich links with the UK, we are brothers as part of the Commonwealth.

The Hayley Atwell head sculpt looks fantastic on the figure. I may pick one up now on Ebay. I was inspired to buy the figure from your in depth review. Great work as always.

That's a really nice piece Justin. She looks great with the alternative head sculpt. On a side note my Bela Lugosi Infinite Statue Sideshow deluxe figure arrived yesterday. Could not be more happy as I got the deluxe edition with coffin. Again great review and video. As always kind regards Rikki

I got mind yesterday. I am satisfied to the quality control, the sewing is detailed and I could not found a single piece of those small extra stitches. It would be great if there are a few more head scoops, doesn’t make much sense if she is lifting her sword high but mouth is closed. But something I wanna say is that the joints are a bit too fragile, I broke mine when trying to replace the right hand, luckily there are two sets of replacement that comes with the box. I called Hot toys today and they said the diameter of the hand join is 3mm, hopefully that helps if anybody is looking for replacement.

It looks equally as good with the realistic Hayley Atwell head, it can pass as the live action Captain Carter in Dr Strange 2(especially if they do the rest of the Illuminati at some point)

Honestly I do think that headswap does look a bit better. Especially if it'll go with other more realistic characters.

Hi Justin! Hope you are well. When I first saw this character in live action in Dr strange 2, I loved the way she looked. Now this figure, which is a character that has undergone the transformation in “what if”, where I first saw her, looks a lot like the live action. That longer hair option with the floating hair doesn’t as well as the hair that is straight down. They did a nice job with this figure and for an animated look it’s ok, maybe someone will make a lifelike head sculpt of the actress who plays the role, it might look good on this body. I really want to see if the figure could look like the live action character. Thanks for the video 😊💎

Nah, the 3rd party 'real' head is hideous, not digging it at all. Don't mind the animated head despite the lack of detail, it just looks nicer. In any case, would prefer a Stealth Suit version personally, I love the blue/silver look.
