@dinolast Hey even I didn't think I was going to get this piece, because we're not POTC fans but I was more concerned with regereting passing on a DX figure and boy am I glad we picked him up. This has instantly become one my favorite humanoid HT pieces. Still prefer the monsters, robots and cyborgs, but Jck DX is super intricate and detailed. That's what I'm talking about when it comes to DX figures, the the sculpt, the clothing and accessories are all amazing and for something like that the price is right; for about $230.00 you get all of that and top quality to go along with it, most excellent review Wendy and Jay, oh and the intro once again super funny!!

@Playitstraight44 Thanx for watching. Our main cabinet is actually and old display unit from a video game store. It has very large + heavy sliding glass doors, but we remove them when we shoot. I suspended the shelving inside with thin chains, so they're adjustable + the'll never fall either + the shelves are lined with thin sheets of black foam board. It's all pretty air-tight. It's an industrial cabinet so it is extremely well built and super strong + it weighs & can hold a ton. Peace, J & W

@masterreplicasguy Yes Jack is outstanding, even by Hot Toys DX standards, easily one of our favorite humaniod figures now. I think the Enterbay Scarface looks awesome, but we already have the BW. I would probably still go with BW because I think you get better accessories out of the box, with the Chair and heavy magnetic base + he was 30-40 cheaper than the new EB. I also prefer the calculating expression on the BW version over the open mouthed EB. Thanx for watching. Peace, Jay

When Wendy says The "PERS" System, She's reffering to the Hot Toys patented "Parallel Eye Rolling System" It is a standard feature on all Hot Toys DX line of figures, DX01, Joker, DX02 Batman, DX03 Michael Jackson Bad, DX04 Bruce Lee, DX05 Indiana Jones, DX06 Jack Sparrow, and the yet to be released DX07, DX08, DX09, Keaton Batman, Joker and Bespin Luke Skywalker all have this "PERS" feature. I think Hot Toys just manufacturers larger run-sizes, which keeps them on the shelves longer nowadays. We're very lucky when it comes to damaged items, we've only ever had very minor issues, and only once or twice maybe. I have always preferred to pick items like this up in person. This is why I also love Sideshow's Star Wars 1/6th line, never any issues, if so their customer service is stellar. Peace, Jay

Great review. I did have one question a little off topic. I LOVE the display case you have there. Is that a custom job you guys built to hold those figures? I'm thinking about building one similar to that to hold my collection. Do you have any kind of lining on those shelves or do the figures just stand freely in there? We're not major fans of Superheroe films beside, Reeve Superman and Keaton Batman but some we just can't pass on because of how cool the figures are like Dx batman and Ironman figures. Im getting this figure on Monday!!! Cant wait he'll be my 4th DX!!! I was worried Id miss him because I had to wait so long but now a days it seems like HT figures are sitting on the shelf longer and longer... Maybe people are loosing there intrest or are fed up with how Hot Toys has been treating the issues with there figures lately no replacements and turn a blind eye...
