Cool car. Wow great owner. So many GenX just got left alone to discover cars. 17 Years old. My girlfriend lived 70 miles away. I bought a $450 dollar Beetle. Right away I discovered this cars strengths and weaknesses. What a great car.

The sound from that is awesome! My brother has a 1970 with a 1915cc, running 40 dell'orto, 2100lb clutch plate in a Cog Box transmission and a load of other bits that I can't remember. Only has around 110bhp but it's a hoot around the streets of London. He stayed away from Cal look. He was the first in the UK to fit the 17" alloys from a MK1 Audi TT under stock width fibreglass wings.
