This is another awesome SDCC Exclusive from 2014. Along with the Star Wars Darth Vader car and the Homer this Aston Martin DB5 was released as a 2014 San Diego Comic Con exclusive vehicle from Hot Wheels. This is an excellent piece!

Tim M I'm not entirely sure. I think I heard the Darth Vader was $40 but I'm not sure about this one.

I find with these exclusives you are paying for more of the packaging then the actual car, because the car is usually the same version to can get at stores.

The packaging is definitely exquisite. These cars are a little different from what will be available in stores. The Bond car is chromed the retail version will not be, same with the Homer and the Star Wars car has real riders the store version will not. Minor details basically and I'm sure production costs aren't that much more to justify them being 25$+ more than the retail version. So basically I agree with you, they are charging for the exquisite packages lol.

Tucker Fellows If by "cheap one" you mean one of the first 2 I showed you can pick those up at retail locations that carry Hot Wheels. They are getting snagged up by collectors though so if you don't want to invest a lot of time hunting I would suggest eBay. Finding a cheap SDCC version isn't something that I think is going to happen.
