Watching your videos and listening to your voice are therapeutical to me. It’s like a Bob Ross painting video of a “happy tree” , except this version is of restoring hot wheels. Thanks. Please post more vids.

I'd say spectra flame blue. I just bought two of these, a gold one and a purple one. Can't wait to dig in!

Go back to red! My dad has had a 72 in red since I was born and he actually gave it to me as my first car. It's what started my obsession with cars. Love these old C3s!

I love that you give these to a child to play with. I also love that same 4 year old broke your stand! Not that it is broken, that is bad, but that you allow the 4 year old around your workbench to enjoy the process. Maybe one day that 4 year old will carry on your hobby. Small criticism, stop saying "as we always do." It sort of takes away from your videos.

Since you like blue so much, and in your VW video you said you like Aqua, I say paint it in Spectraflame Aqua. It’s one of the rarer, harder to find Corvette colors, and since it’s going into your personal collection, I think it’d make a nice addition to it. Great restoration...Best of luck.

Leave it chrome, with red racing stripe on the left, a blue racing stripe on the right, and white between the two, making a red, white and blue racing stripe down the middle of the car leaving the rest chrome. Great video once again!

Looks great in chrome! I used to have a chrome Redline Boss Mustang with black stripes. Maybe chrome with black stripes, but it’s cool if you just go with chrome.

Always love the videos dude , you always provide nice commentary . I have a product recommendation for you it’s called “loctite 7063” it’s alcohol based cleaner. I work in the medical industry and use it all the time . It’s eats through grime like nothing ! I live in England so if u can’t get it where you’re from let me know and I’ll do my best to get u some :)! Keep up the good work

It's a similar model to the Corvettes given to the Apollo mission astronauts. I think they were gold with a black vinyl roof.

I think blue would be nice with black stripe! Dark blue would be nice! Also matt would look really nice

Maybe keep it chrome but do a clear coat, maybe paint some of the details like tail lights etc and give another buff! Good stuff!

If chrome then clear coat it or it dulls after a few weeks. I made that mistake on a HW Corvette Stingray

Blue candy. The red on the wheels and the white would compliment the others, especially as it's an American sportscar.

My very first Hot Wheel was an Orange 1968 Corvette. I got it the first week I was in Kindergarten back in 1969. Stupid me, took it to school to show it off and one of the other kids in class stole it from me. For nostalgia, I'd go with Orange or Candy Apple Red.

I always tend to go with something to match the color of the windshield. I hate colored windshields because it limits what color you REALLY want to spray on the body! Even tho i love candy red, the windshield being blue doesn’t compliment the whole thing. Can’t do candy purple, yellow, brown or green. And i know you can swap the windshield to another shade but you’re already $45 in this. So I would go with candy Blue or what you use, Spectraflame Blue.

I gave a 1940 ford red line Hot wheel made in 1971 U.S. and foreign patented that I started but you gave me an idea to use my dermal tool the wire wheel on it

Polished chrome looks great. I'm just concerned about keeping it that way. Do you have to keep polishing it or will you be applying some clear coat so it won't tarnish or oxidize ?

I suggest painting it Blue on the left and red on the right with a white stripe going on the middle like you're really combining them both, and both colors should be Spectra Flame

I honestly like the chrome look. A question on the windshield, have you ever tried repairing the crack with super glue, then buffing the windshield? I've seen it Done on larger scale models, just curious if it would work on these? It seems to flow right into the crack and make it disappear.

How about a two tone spectraflame maybe red into yellow to look like a flame. By the way what do you do with your scrap parts like the base to that car? I ask because you could do stuff like cut the base to a rectangle an turn it into an awesome keychain/dogtag.

When you paint your car do you use wax or the polishing compound after the paint dry what do u use

After it's all dry I use polishing compound and then wax. Well at least I did on the last one.

Looks great in chrome but a nice deep blue would show the classic lines off .... is there any way of lowering the stance aswell ?, I always felt this Corvette had too much gap between the body and the wheels

Has to be Spectraflame purple, it's a mix of blue and red so it would be a nod to both of the cars used to create this model.
