Dude this used to be my all time favorite video game when I was a kid. The amount of time I spent on this game is crazy. I wouldn’t mind playing this again now just for the feeling of going back in time when life was so much more simple and fun

Dude.. as a kid my first console was the ps2, and this was one of my most favorite racing games ever! Especially the monster truck jam racing game, that one was fun too.. geez these memories when games were actually well made haha

The graphics still looks great even at this year. Maybe because it captures the movie's CGI pretty well.

When I was young I’d rent this from my local library each week for years. Until on day It wasn’t there anymore. I always wondered what happened to it. It slowly faded from memory to myth, and from myth into legend. I watched “Speed Racer” on Amazon and had a vivid flashback of the game. And now I’ve finally had the memory of it again. I’ll be downloading it on PC and reliving my childhood once more. Happy gaming my friends!

I used to play this, Velocity X and the lesser known Bash Arena every day. This one was by far the hardest one because of how quick it is.

I remember when my brother and I would never actually complete the races on split screen. Instead, we would screw around with the NPCs driving and mess around with the unlockable paths, trying to get stuck in the wall and move objects all over the course. The nostalgia of them old consoles. Interesting how Stunt Track Challenge has some of the same sounds/models from this game.

I used to play this game when I was 8 or 9 maybe 10 years old. My favorite cars from this game are Vulture, Overbored 454, Slingshot, Deora II, and Krazy 8s.

This was my first video game on the PlayStation 2. And PS2 was my first console.

My childhood game

imagine, how good it would look like with todays tech possibilities. damn, not just better graphics in general.. you could add all those worlds, maybe combine it with some open world elements, like the AcceleDome (hideout of Dr. Tesla) and the city where Vert found the wheel of power. Adding the dangers of those worlds e.g. the electricity from the Storm wprld or the fish in the water world and also those special vehicles that enable some kind of shortcut, would I find so fucking awesome. Not forgetting about an opponent A.I. like Gelorum and the Drones with various difficulties and occasional Sweepers you have to deal with. I would play the shit out of that game.

I wish they would remaster this for the PS4 so I could play it again. The maps were just so unique compared to all the other racing games. Only Distance or Nitronic Rush could match this

What A perfect game

this game certainly took a lot of artistic liberties with World Race, but it has enough similarities to keep a 5 year old me satisfied. Played this game so much as a kid.

Best thing about this game was getting all 100 rings and placing 3rd or better on each track to unlock better cars .

My favorite game to play. still have it in my collection only ps2 game I owned when I got the ps2 fat version in 2000s era as a kid. In my collection and transformers the game , other kids cartoon games. I had a bunch but. I guess u can say I spend 24/7 playing this game all day unlocking the cars. Not mention I also had the movies and actual hot wheels cars. I have hot wheels X I think the game is called and hot wheels stunt track challenge.
