Yukiyo Fujii was easily the best new-generation seiyuu to voice Hotaru, especially the idea was to replicate the softness of Yuko Minaguchi, which itself is legendary.

I love Crystal Saturn's English voice. Christine does it perfectly. Saturn isn't supposed to sound happy or excited when she's about to destroy Earth and herself in the process.

Christine's performance between Classic and Crystal are very different. She sounds a lot more dramatic in Crystal, as both Hotaru and Saturn. Though I can't say no to her sweet-girl voice in the 90s redub.

I love how Hotaru’s sweet little voice becomes strong sounding when she is Saturn. The actresses do a great job changing up their voices.

Minaguchi's original Saturn is still my favorite. Her voice had such a dark nuance that was perfect for the character

Christine did a great job in Crystal. She definitely captured Hotaru's emotion and character and Sailor Saturn's Snarky and stoic attitude. Jennifer did an excellent job at differentiating between frail and weak Hotaru and the stoic, "I am no longer Hotaru" Sailor Saturn. I always assumed that when she become Sailor Saturn, she aged to Michiru and Haruka's age, so I like that vocal change.

Everyone had hella range doing the character: quiet and shy for Hotaru, deep and menacing for Mistress 9, and solemn for Saturn.

I love Jennifer Gould's Hotaru Tomoe voice. I love the gentleness and sweetness of it. Another one of Jennifer Gould's voices that I like is that of Pallapalla/Parapara, in the Cloverway version of Season 4 of the '90s Sailor Moon anime. I like the cute and mischievous little girlish tone of that voice, and I think that it's an excellent fit for Pallapalla/Parapara's personality. Thanks for voicing both of those characters, Jennifer.😊

Christine Marie Cabanos does a wonderful job as the voice of Sailor Saturn/ Hotaru. I love how her voice sounds playful but also very beautiful too.☺

I wasn't sure about Crystal Saturn's deep solemn tone at first, but i think its starting to grow on me. I love Christine's sweet girl voice for Hotaru though, and she plays her emotions and character off very well.

I especially like how they had Saturn during her little speech be more solemn and resigned to her fate in the Viz dub of the 90's anime, similar to the original Japanese. Cloverway made her sound a little too eager and upbeat about sacrificing herself, IMO.

With the Exception of Jennifer Gould (whose voice for Hotaru always made me think of Minnie Mouse and sounded Stilted in her Sailor Saturn form to me), I love all of Sailor Saturn's voices. On an unrelated note, I think Christine's voice for Sailor Saturn in Crystal would be a solid fit for Raven in a Teen Titans animated series.

I think it’s fair to say that all the performances for Hotaru are strong on their own merit. Everyone is very pleasing in the role, no matter how they tackle it.

Love minaguchi and fuji’s breathy speaking voice for hotaru. For Saturn, the speaking voice is still breathy but more determined, the screaming attack is pure and stonic. It really brings out hotaru/Saturn’s lonely and heroic nature. Mesmerizing.

I like both voice actresses from the Japanese version. But Christine Marie Cabanos was actually a pretty good choice to voice Hotaru in the re-dub.

I didn't think Christine could do a deeper voice.

Hotaru is Hotaru.

Make no mistake, the Canadian Sailor Moon actresses deserved better. The original dub was poorly handled. I'm sure Cloverway, Inc. got a well earned punishment after pissing off Sailor-Moon fans by closing down for good in August 2007.
