Hotel Key-card Collection for 10 years

Among the souvenirs of the trip, hotel card keys are one of the things that you can get very easily. It depends on the country, but in the case of the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, they often just give it to you when you check out. Depending on the hotel, you may have to buy it or pay for the loss, but it's not that expensive, so you just have to pay as much as you want. Of course, there are places where they don't give you card keys, and you can't collect regular keys or special-shaped keys, but the card keys alone are enough to make a nice collection.

I have a question. What is the safest way to store plastic hotel key cards? I used to store them in Ultra Pro plastic sleeves and semi-rigid holders, just like collectors store baseball cards. However, a few days ago, I was looking at them, and I noticed that mosture appeared on them. Naturally, I removed the cards to prevent damage. Thankfully, none were damaged. Is it possible, that the combination of plastic sleeves AND plastic cards caused mosture buildup? I keep them at room temperature. Currently, I have them in a box. Is there a safe way to store them long term, without any damage? Any mosture will "wipe away" the ink. I know some collectors use 8 pocket plastic pages. However, they are no good if they're going to cause the ink to run. Currently, I have over 200 different key cards. Just a small collection. I started collecting them during this pandemic. Since I can't travel, I'm going to bring the world to me.
