The TONE mode selection and Q value adjustment represent an absolute improvement in tone and functionality. Multiple I/O options provide more diverse access. Sounds awesome, just like all the Hotone pedals that I own. Six years ago a "Psycho Press" was announced, but I have never heard any word about it since then. It was meant to be a treadle controlled octaver and bitcrusher. I still hope that it will become real. I'd buy it on the spot!

Actually I read somewhere that Joe uses HH pickups, so the split coils from each of the humbuckers would create a tele-like tone, so... not that far off xD And he sounded the part as well, massively!

I'm looking for a pedal that, when used "normally", works like a volume pedal but when switched (with a switch like the ones on the Soul Press I and II) it leaves the volume on full and becomes an expression pedal. Let's say like a Soul Press I but with a dedicated exp out that allows not to change the cable everytime i want to switch between volume and expression. Does the Soul Press II allows that?

That's exactly what it does as one of the options. On top of that you have a dedicated tuner output, 2 types of Wah, and a Q knob for regulating the amount of effect.

@@HotoneAudio finally someone have thought about this option, there're tons of volume/expression pedals out there but none with that simple trick! The only solution was to have two pedals, one for volume and one for expression, or switch cables everytime 😰 thank you!

@@HotoneAudio looking forward to it! I have a Moore Wahter but it's just too small for me. This looks just right. I was going to get the original Soul Press but I'll wait for more details on this. Curious what improvements have been made. Hoping the sweep is a touch wider

@@bobsondugnutt5688 Thanks for your comment. We believe is a huge improvement over the SP gen1. You can join our FB podcast (and check previous ones) where we went through every detail on the unit. That will help you to have a more accurate idea if it's the pedal for you.

Is the volume taper smoother than on the first version? Wasn’t so usable for volume swell, very abrupt halfway. When will these be available in europe?
