Hellow I have bought this amazing pedal and wow!!. Question, I see in your page that it needs 9 V and "max 30 mA", does it mean that in needs maximum 30 mA and that for example my power suoly with only outputs of 9V and 200 mA would damage the pedal?, I'm a little bit confuse, if you could help me I would apreciate it. The new version of the software doesn't allow for importing and exporting patches. I don't see an option anymore. Is there a way to import patches?

Has anyone tried importing IRs onto this and if so what’s the correct IRs size I need and is it a big improvement on the stock cabs?

This is a long shot but what would be cool is the ability to turn your old ampero into a midi controller and being able to control the stomp and if the stomp cant handle effect in the rig it can rely on the old ampero to hold that effect (just the ones on the ampero tho none of the newer fxs) so the old amperos dont become useless and covered in dust And what would be cool is the stomp being able to use the app I know thats one of the main selling points of the stage but it would be pretty cool if we can plug into the stomp using the usb c cable (since nearly every phone uses usb c) and being allowed to use the app and record with it I really like this update though to include stomp users and to upgrade the ampero name keep them coming 👍

As time goes by, we see more and more good products coming from Chinese brands, and that’s exciting. It creates competition for American products, which tend to stagnate and lack innovation. The Chinese brands seem to understand everything, engaging in a constant race to offer the best product. I just ordered mine, and I think it will be great on its own, but I can't wait to test it connected to my JBL PartyBox Ultimate.

How do I import IRs? Can I do it via my phone using drop box and how do I update the firmware?. Are you adding any EVH amps or anything to it ? I thought this would have the Precision overdrive pedal like the stage 2 has but it doesn’t ?

Bueno voy a explicar de nuevo, me gusto mucho estos productos, sin embargo yo no dispongo de gabinetes/cabinet, entonces que opciones existen para mi? si quiero obtener este producto y escucharme a sonido ambiente, como tambien para que me escuchen los demas? solo cuento con mini amplificadores de guitarra electrica, es posible sacar el sonido por mis amplificadores de guitarra electrica ? y cual seria la forma? quisiera saber todas las opciones que existen, para esquiver la unica opcion de gabinete. y poder tocar a sonido ambiente/habitacion.

How responsive is the tuner if used on a bass? I can’t seem to fine any discussion online of this pedal from a bass perspective.

Meu problema é o seguinte, tenho a Ampero 2 há mais de uma ano, tinha feito apenas uma atualização, então quando vi a última atualização 2.0, fiquei super animado, então o que fiz? Seguir uma ordem cronológica, fazendo todas as atualizações anteriores, e deu tudo certo. Em seguida faltava a última, decidir fazer a atualização, no término do processo, a pedaleira reinicia e trava na interface inicial, e não prossegue, então mantive a calma, pois é tenso...rs...rsrs! Fiz o processo novamente voltando para a anterior a 2.0 e deu certo. Então tentei outras duas vezes novamente, inclusive, trocando de cabo, mas não deu certo, havendo o mesmo travamento na interface inicial. O que me dizer a respeito e solução para ter a nova versão 2.0? Quem puder ajudar que tenha passado o mesmo problema, fico a disposição! Abraço!

Hotone please help! My Ampero II Stomp was working great with my PC via USB until I tried to update to the latest firmware. I began the update and got to the point where it asks you 2 times in a row if you have already backed up your presets. I clicked continue, and the Ampero entered update/restore mode, but inmediately stopped being recognized by the editor and PC. Now the unit is still stuck in update/restore mode and I can´t do anything because no computer will even recognize it when being plugged in via USB (I have tried 3 different computers with the same results. It seems that the USB port stopped working when it got stuck in update mode. (Yes, I am using the latest USB driver from your website). I have tried different cables, rebooted my PCs, unistalled and installed latest versions of Hotone USB driver and Ampero II Stomp editors (I tried with the previous 3 versions) but the unit is still stuck in that screen. So in summary, it was working fine with my PC until I tried to update firmware and after that it is stuck in update/restore mode and no computer is able to identify it via USB. Even if I unplug the unit, when I plug it in again and turn it on it is still stuck in update/restore mode. Thank you for the support.

Just got mine the other day with the matching Press II expression pedal and I'm blown away. Incredible piece of gear.

The new 2.0 firmware offers 3 scenes and drums plus some other improvements. So it's a keeper for me.

I wish I could find one of these. I love the Hotone skyline series in general and I’m sad they seem to have made so few. It’s not just the tiny enclosure, which is great, the overall design is so brilliant with the tiny knobs and the integrated light on top.

I love mine. Replaced like 10 other pedals including amp sim!

Please add possibility to send MIDI commands by pressing footswitches on stomp/stage. (I'm not sure if this function exists now) It will be really useful to use Hotone ampero II stomp/stage as midi controller for pc or other devices. For me it will be perfect to use Hotone Ampero II Stage with IPad and send MIDI commands to daw in my IPad. And c'mon, make MIDI out on Stage work!

It’s actually great you put all these features and UI from Stage 2 to my Stomp 2. It feels like a new unit. I wish it’s now available the MIDI out control.

This is a fantastic update. So many quality of life improvements on the unit and in the editor. I was super happy with my Ampero 2 Stomp before but some small things were missing, like the live updates in the software or the possibility to change multiple settings with one button. With scenes you topped what I was hoping for. Very well done and thank you for keeping inventing and updating the platform. One small ask from me is to make the font of the patch name in patch mode 2 bigger, but that is just a tiny thing. P.S.: One additional small thing maybe for the next update: It would be great to have the input and output levels displayed on the software again.

Don't update. Wait for the stable version I've encountered issues after the upgrade with randomly freezing UI, and disability to properly identify my device after USB plug in in Ampero II app. The behavior is observed for app both on Mac OS and Windows UPDATE: somehow, figured out to reset default presets and after restart it worked. But! I'm still holding my fingers crossed. Will eagerly wait for update to make it stable
