Sure but turn your highs up when the Hotone plays. You cannot get this kind of life out of torpedo IR files.

This binary device is abeolutely incredible! It has less top end but I am surprised at how good it is because when I turn up my highs on my EQ applied to this video, it brings good air out of the Hotone and not in a bad colored way. Are all these preset IRs included with the device as heard on this video? This device sounds much more real than a Torpedo.

Your playing is really lovely to listen too, thanks. Just listened to the Traynor ycv40 vid too and funny I am looking at getting one of these two amps. Just wondt if you have favourite or could help recommend. I am looking for a good clean Channel with decent headroom when playing with drummer/band etc, and I have always loved marshall lead tones. My favourite amp for lead was a jcm900 slx. I know it's all a matter of taste but I would be interested if you have any insight. Cheers

Thanks a lot! The Engl has more clean headroom before breaking up, if that's what you need. Both amps sound very good in my opinion. Unfortunately my Traynor blew up long time ago, the Engl is still ok after15 years use. Cheers!

@@NikolayKarageorgiev thanks for your answer, I appreciate it. I have found both amps for a good price so I have the Traynor already now and I think it has enough clean headroom but I have a feeling I will like the engl more, but I am liking the tones from the Traynor except it's a bit harsh at the high end when turned up and the gain is not exactly what I would have hoped for (coming from marshall) so I might try some KT77 valves in the power section (it has JJ ecc83s and sovtec 5881s at the moment). I could get used to the gain though, I don't dislike it and it's early days. Thanks again for replying and keep up the nice playing 🙂

@@NikolayKarageorgiev Hi, thanks for your answer and channel! I meant IRcab was best in all cases exept high-gain as for me. And I wonder how it will be when you come to stage with big sound - will IRcab be sounding dynamicly rich or it will become a solid brick. Does anybody use it for stage or it's realy used for recording only.
