Those super58s are the best HBs ever made IMO. GOT nothing against Yammies whatsoever, the SA top models might even have slightly better build quality, at least bindings seem to hold up better than the Ibanez from that era.. but neck profile on the AS fits my hand perfectly. Both are excellent, PUs makes the difference for me personally

Sounds great! I have a Classic 30 that has a bad “tube rattle” issue. I disconnected the speaker and use an external cab

there are people in this world that well tell you with a straight face, you CAN NOT shred with a Les Paul, or a Fender Amp... this should absolutely prove them wrong... I might have to find me one of these little fire breathers though (the shredding part is clearly not in my cards though lol)

The R8 is the winner for me. The guitar is singing at clean tones and have that round mellow tone with a bite in the overdrive tones.... The Maybach have a little too much mids. (for me) The standard has no crisp overtones... For me... the R8 is the absolutely winner.

Greetings, my friend! Verily, we dwell in dark times, wherein certain strange Bulgarians play rock and roll upon Bulgarian acoustic guitars and record it on Apple computers (Cubase has fallen). Nothing sacred remained, the dark side shrouds everything. 😁

I have that amp - love it. It's a keeper for sure. You're fiddling with the graphic EQ and have the EQ switch in auto. Not sure that works the same.

I had an early 90s Classic 50 2x12 and must say it was one of the nicest amps I've ever owned. I also had the Classic 30 1x12 and Classic 20 1x10 but neither were anywhere near the tone of the 50. I sold it to my nephew in '98, he still has it. Great demo and your chops are right up my alley. Thank you!

1 minute of cleans and 6 minutes of chainsaw. What a shame. I bought my .50cal new around 1991. Probably the sweetest blues tones ever made.

Would you consider recording a more extended demo showcasing the clean channel of the amp along with some flavorful overdriven tones? I apologize for not accurately representing the sound of this undoubtedly great amp. Thank you!

@@NikolayKarageorgiev Sadly, I sold my Mesa a few years ago. As you know, its a heavy amp to lug around. Like many, I went digital. I built a 2x10 combo with a 1U Rocktron stereo power amp built in. My Boss multi FX runs into the combo. Incredibly flexible setup, stereo sound and lighter than the Mesa. But TBH, the Boss has not been able to emulate those sweet Mesa blues tones like the 50cal., which I do miss. Rock on Nikolay!
