the reason why the glass started to steam up when it filled up is because i use hot water to fill my machines up now as it’s a more eco way i have found as it saves the machine having to heat from cold. water incoming temp is around 40° and this cycle does a cool down only at 60°. very unique to the usual fast washes i think

Brings back memories of the Hotpoint WML760 (1600rpm) machine I had in it's later years before the programmer failed and would not complete a cycle (kept erroring at different points in a cycle) unless it was 'Spin Only'. This WML540 machine has a 1400rpm top speed and does not have the digital timer as my old 760 machine had. A tad little bit unbalanced at times (shocks okay on this machine?) for what seems to be a light load but the balance sensor is working to redistribute the load by slowing and speeding back up in it's pre-spin tumble before it spins. Nice video of the highlights of it's Fast Wash 60 programme (which is what I use most often on my current FML942 Hotpoint unless I have more heavily soiled washing which has to go on a longer wash)!

How is it more economical to use a hot water fill... That water also needed to be heaten up. But its nice that the water is already warm at the beginning of the program ofc

because the heating can heat it up quicker than the washing machine itself

the 1600 version is the hotpoint wml560 washer

if you want the fastest wash i would recommend you at least use the fast wash 60 which on this specific machine is number 5 as fast wash 30 (number 13) washes at cold only with a max spin of 800

yes fast wash 60 takes 60 minutes at 60 but can change the temp lower fast wash 30 is at 30 minutes but temperature is at cold so that’s why i recommend to not really use the fast wash 30

It's really daily/mixed load program in 1 hour
