In this video I show how I created a cell animation inspired, stylized dissolve effect. For people interested in just an overview, in the first 10 minutes I quickly walk through and explain my network setup and talk about my thinking behind it. After that, I rebuild the effect explaining in detail every step of the process. I hope sharing the info this way is useful for both new and old Houdini users.
I use a couple MOPs nodes, but also show alt setups for users who don't have MOPs installed.
