In this video I show how I created a cell animation inspired, stylized dissolve effect. For people interested in just an overview, in the first 10 minutes I quickly walk through and explain my network setup and talk about my thinking behind it. After that, I rebuild the effect explaining in detail every step of the process. I hope sharing the info this way is useful for both new and old Houdini users.
I use a couple MOPs nodes, but also show alt setups for users who don't have MOPs installed.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I've been spread a little thin between freelance, attempts at NFT as well as normal life. I'm going to make more time for making videos like this though, it's honestly more rewarding than most other uses of my time.

Nice, didn't know about the count chop. One maybee simpler solution would just to have a wrangle in the dop network counting up if active==1

@@WhatIFound yes I have checked them out. Got a basic understanding of MOPS how they work . But as myself a beginner was looking for a detailed study on it as i think few of the options might got changed as they update their versions . As i love your tuts (short and to the point) thought of checking with you.

@@9734429181 I see. Yeah, I think it's a great idea and good feedback. I'm definitely going to include some mops in an upcoming tut using the gamepad chop. I'll think through some content that's more focused on Mops for the future. Thanks again for the comments.

@@WhatIFound thats awesome.. May I suggest you for the Xmen Mystique transformation effect.? I believe that can be a good example of falloffs and per piece rotation/ scaling. Just a thought..
