We spot the Albatruck (mussel barge) nestled in the local mussel farm hard at work... a fishing opportunity that I simply can not resist.
We successfully land some sizable snapper and trevally. Each catch brings not just the thrill of the chase but also the satisfaction of knowing that these succulent treasures will grace holiday tables.

2 lines one fish 😂 greedy little red!! You just can't beat a good working barge session for filling the chilly bin, efficient as, and some solid fish coming on board 👌. Loving watching the content on the new boat, so much usable space, it's an awesome wee set up. Haha being a big kid at sea and on land makes your videos the real deal and puts you ahead of others, shows you do really love what you're doing and don't take it for granted, keep on keeping on dude 🤙

Im with you on that one. I catch fish to eat and once I have what I need I go home. The fact that I also enjoy fishing is a bonus but I cant see the point of spending the day catching the fish just to let them go.

Yeah bro. My mate and I were fishing off the sand out Papamoa, I was using anchovy my mate was using squid. Both our rods buckled over and bugger me we both had caught the same snapper. A nice 45cm panny

Goodday there, watched your video and lovely. I'm Todd and I will be spending 2 weeks in north island started mid Jan 2024. I wish to do some casting for kingy if possible during that period of time.
