I am happy they stayed true to the originality and history of the home. I know Hollywierd made a Horror Movie in 64 with Bette Davis using the outside property and home but it would have never been a reason for an attraction spot for years to come. What this owner has done is absolutely outstanding and he made this place a TRUE destination vacation stop.

Dear Mr. Kevin, If I may, would it be possible to clutter out some of the pieces of art you have collected, and keep the plantation in its heyday. The original owners would have had most of their furniture and Interior furnishings imported from Europe. They exported the majority of sugar and cane there. The owners would have been very chic and sophisticated - as well as savvy businessmen. I can appreciate your love for dogs, but all the dog murals and what not you have in the house (including the boy/train statue) is simply not nice to look at.
