Absolutely beautiful place

Thoroughly enjoyed this, especially the Q&A in the beginning and the end with Mr. Kelly. Houmas House is a treasure! We live close by and visit for every Mother's Day and take our annual photo.... sadly not his year due to Covid.... and for birthdays or just to see the fabulous gardens. They are always changing for the seasons and always spectacular. We also go for the delicious meals. The chef is brilliant. Our last meal a few weeks ago may have been my favorite... the Wagyu Sirloin melted in my mouth and I'm still thinking about it! Will be back soon! Thank you Mr Kelly for not only saving this historical treasure but for pouring your heart into and making it available to so many to see and appreciate the beauty and history of the plantation era. Our first visit to it was in the early 80's and we have enjoyed watching the process of it's return to the jewel it once was..... tho I think it probably outshines it's early years!
