Raise your men and go support king Robert in the war. Maybe you will be rewarded for loyalty or gain gold/items in sieges. Plus it will be some excitement too

It seems like a good time to start marrying courtiers for champions/knights. Also, knights are just a good idea so you can squire and knight your sons.

Advice for you my lord As a family man it would be in your best interest to focus on your own home and domain than let the wars and conflicts of the world blind you. I recommend begin reconstruction of the ancient seat of house mud and restoring it to its former grandeur 😊

I think we need to build up our current estate a little first, once we upgrade the ruin we lose a lot of our income

the lag may be caused by a buildup of save files. at least my game was running slow and seems better after i deleted a bunch of my old saves.

I only have 1-4 save files at any given time, I've gone through so many posts and suggestions but nothing seems to work. Luckily it's a map game so the stutters are bearable although sometimes they make me grumpy haha

I think now is the best time to start your faction against the Mallisters.You have made marriage pacts with their vassals so you can call them to war plus they will be away from their land if they join the war against the blackfyres. Your new liege is young and a green boy if he isn’t commanding troups you can capture him in seige
