If you fail with the assassination plot on the king, and don't get exposed, you should really try killing the kids, cause that way the throne passes straight to his sister, who has Dayne children. Loving this series.

If you want characters with good and specific stats to educate someone, you can also ask for instance other family lords (such as LP of Dorne or the Westerlands) to do it. Or others that have a great opinion of you. I did it with Reaghar when I was only a Duke in the North. He accepted because he had +80 opinion of me :)
