This is the first video post in 2022 and the final video filmed in 2021. In this video Delmar is on the initial dispatch for a working house fire in Salisbury. Engine 74-1 and Truck 74-4 respond. Paramedic B-74 is also dispatched for an EMS cover up assignment at Salisbury station 2. While helping cover the city, Paramedic B-74 responds to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. This is a long video with nearly the full response of both the Engine and Truck, which includes two views from aboard the Truck, as well as the nighttime response of the ambulance to the accident. Thanks for watching!

Man, that is a long response. For the most part, it looks like the other vehicles comply with pulling over to yield the right of way. Curious, is there a close by water supply or is it all by tank water and tanker shuttles?

It changes up periodically. I believe at the moment Station 1 has Engine, Truck, Ambulance. Station 2 has a Truck, reserve Engine and an Ambulance. Station 16 has two Engines, Tower, Rescue, two Ambulances, Engine-Tanker, Dive Unit, Brush truck, Utility, Haz-Mat and Air/Cascade unit.

@SpeedbirdFF
@SpeedbirdFF 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching CDM! Currently fires in Salisbury are a 4 or 5 station initial dispatch depending on who the "outside" (non-Salisbury) stations are. For county stations it's either a 3 or 4 station dispatch depending on the first due station's wishes.

I'm not sure who that was. When I reviewed the full video, that vehicle followed the Truck all the way to the scene. It was initially stopped by police but then allowed to continue. It did not follow the Truck all the way down the street to the fireground however.

This was a mutual aid response, technically across state lines (part of Delmar is in Delaware, part is Maryland). Actually, they got there pretty quickly given the distance.

Looked like a great opportunity to relay pump that hydrant wasn’t that far away instead of nurse feeding!!! Plenty of line and engines on scene!! Then you have a water supply!! This nurse feeding technique is terrible!! The rural fire department in my are does this !! They refuse to use a hydrant!! Relay pumping uses less manpower too !! Most firefighters just don’t want to load hose !! Laziness is the problem!!
