Nice amenities! New build is always a bonus. The price is the same as we've been paying for our little 2 bedroom condo in Metro Manila, but this duplex is much bigger, even if it's a 1 bedroom. Thanks for taking us along Janet and Magic Mike (😂🤣) 👍

Great house tour Janet! I really like this place. It's in a cool location (Valencia) and the unit is partitioned well. I like all the cabinet space and large stone counter top with gas stove & oven (great to have for cooking/baking) & a large table so plenty of room for food prep. The extra CR is a plus as well as the dirty kitchen. If I was there I'd consider it and I like the price too. Question: how do you turn on/off the A/C in the bedroom? It looks like it would be hard to reach with the storage unit being in the way.

That’s a nice unit, Mike and Janet. How close is it to a major “private” hospital, good grocery stores, access to cabs/Uber type transportation, and a mall? Thx for sharing.

no cabs or Uber here in Dumaguete. 25 minutes to Silliman Hospital 10 minutes to Valencia Medical Center. Hyper mart mart 15 minutes and Robinson Mall 20 minutes

i thought it may be a decent deal until you got to the porch and we saw it was only half of the place. then inside it looked like a hallway more than an apartment. i rented a 'rectangle' shaped house with 2 bedrooms 9x10ft a nice kitchen7ftx10ft , 6ftx8ft bathroom and a huge living room for 5000 peso a month ,it had a 25ft x 10ft front yard area and 4ft wide area going down one side of the house that was fenced/walled in with a big double gate in front. it wasn't furnished but did have one aircon in the master bedroom. its nice that its new and has new appliances but the building itself is shaped very awkward. if you had some karaoke neighbors on the other half of your house drinking tuba it would be a disaster. i think some filipinos would be happy there but doubt any foreigners would like to be there more than a weekend.

if it had cement street or access to stay out of the mud it would make a nice hotel room but i doubt anyone would like to stay there long term. it feels like a hotel room. i'd pay 2000 peso for the weekend.

for $350 i would expect electric and water internet and cable to be included. most regular stand alone houses rent for $100-$200 and you get a full sized real house then pay your own utilities.

@@garyabell3456 they are all over leyte biliran samar.. cebu.. they wont be newly just built and full of new appliances but for 150 bucks a month you can buy your own appliances and get starlink . they wont feel like youre living in a hallway either.

What is the point of spikes on fence but fence pillars are flat top and fence is horizontal slats making a perfect ladder. 😂😂 Janet did fine for first time. Will improve with practice as she is a bright lady. Look forward to more. Be there mid Aug to mid Oct with my girlfriend to look around. Maybe we will meet at Ground Zero.

Good video Horrible design for a living space! Kitchen is a hallway. Refrigerator and stove on opposite ends and a toilet in the middle. If you have two people or more you will constantly be bumping into each other. Other than that it’s priced right.

@@DumagueteRentals I wanted to give my feedback on the video but didn't want it to come across as too critical. Also didn't want to add it to the main comments section. I've seen tons of videos. My main source of entertainment is KZfaq because I have no wifi hooked to my TVs. These rental videos are very informative and useful for the would-be retiree. If course rates will change by the time most of us get there but it's still useful information. I would suggest she talk more about what is not obvious to the viewer. For instance. We can easily see the TV. So it's not necessary to say much about it. What we didn't see right off was the split Aircon over the front door. I think it was mentioned but not made a point of. We could see the other Aircon units, although there was no mention of a remote for the bedroom. It's kinda out of reach way up there. It wasn't obvious to me if there was screens on the windows so that's a good thing to mention. Just little things to remember. For instance. Was there a bong gun? So the little details that aren't pointed out with video can be verbally mentioned. The obvious doesn't need to be. Her enthusiasm is great. English is pretty good and the words she's having a hard time with are not annoying. Actually kind of adorable. I guess my observation is. There was a lot of redundancy. Honestly it's not a big deal and she will get better as her experience increases. It might be possible for the "new" cameraman to keep track of his fingers 😆 Kidding of course. Do you have her conduct a rehearsal and practice what she wants to talk about? Or is it totally off the cuff? Here's a thought. How about a cheat sheet taped to you with bullet points that she can see? Like ; bedroom is 12'x 14' foot. Open close a window, screens. 2 HP Aircon. Or whatever might be interesting but isn't easy to remember. I have to write myself a short list of things I need to mention if I do an update video on one of my projects because I'll forget half the stuff I wanted to say. Anyway. Not trying to be a jackass. Just giving my honest opinion. You wanted to know what we thought. I like to see these smaller channels succeed. I was with Pea in the beginning, hints the nickname Fluffy.
