I will say this, Alicent didn't cause the war. In episode 9 of season 1 we saw the small council had already been planning to usurp the throne once viserys had died, Alicent saying he changed his mind was just convenient to their cause. But the real person who started this war was King Viserys. He made Rhaenyra the heir after he himself was elected king by the great council to prevent a war, a war that was gonna happen cuz the throne may have gone to a woman! He already knew how the realm would react to a woman being heir and yet he did it anyway. He is the root cause of it all lol

Fabian Frankel really is a delightful person offscreen that it kind of makes no sense how people treated him for playing Criston. I don't think they were onscreen together much but he absolutely loved the guys who played Erryk and Arryk. It's kinda funny. As to his character, I find it interesting that his impulsiveness is like a part of why he's succeeding, to the point where he can't stop. Fighting is what he does best and is kind of his default response and it keeps helping him lol. It is a very good streak of luck that is destroying and crushing him internally. It makes you wonder what happens if it hits a wall and that luck runs out. If he ever comes to a crossroads of righteousness and fighting to great to overcome.

A very mixed episode, the theme and the messages was to on the nose for me. This was more like the calm before the storm episode that added some character development to daemon daughters and gave u more sympathy for aemond as well. its like u expect me to believe these two women would be so civil to one another after rt husband beheaded alicents grandson and after aemond killed luke in less than a month from each other......n then u have to convince me that rt was so stupid to go into a place where she would automatically be killed to avoid a war where she was stupid enough to believe that alicent had any power over aegon after the child was killed.......stupid stupid scene. Looking forward to ur guys next reaction.
