Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon video. In this video, I will be talking House of the Dragon's two new trailers released by HBO Max. Earlier today, HBO Max released the Blacks and the Greens official trailers for House of the Dragon's second season. House of the Dragon season 2 will release on HBO and HBO Max, this summer, on June 16th, 2024. These new trailers reveal what will happen during House of the Dragon season 2.

It's so funny to me that Alicent says that no one wants Rhaenyra as queen or they wouldn't support her as queen and yet 52 houses supported her during the war while 28 houses supported Aegon.

Where did you take that count? The wealthiest, largest, and strongest houses in the realm with the largest populations and resources alligned with Aegon. House count is irrelevant when Old Town has more population that the whole Vale or the Westerlands has more population than the entire North. Still means more people support Aegon. 1 house supports a big city, vs the few 20 houses that rule a little rural backward region.

And its normal to think like her since all Targaryen kings before Rhaenyra, including Viserys I, were crowned ahead of female older sisters. So Aegon would have been the normal logic succesor. Rhaenyra being the heir was just a whim of the king and a king wishes arent above law succesion, otherwise the King could name heir his cat it wouldnt make it heir. Male Primogeniture is the way they go in westeros.

@@Alejojojo6 Bro thats because Rhaenyra was living her own life at Dragonstone and had no evil intentions like the Greens mostly Otto while Otto and Alicent were ruling in Viserys's name while he was a bed and not in his senses .. did u miss the scene in 9th episode where Otto forces a lot House leaders and even executed a few .. Vale supported Rhaenyra, North supported Rhaenyra .. Iron island supported Rhaenyra, Dorne wasn't in fold until that time.. only the West supported Greens because he was a fellow small council member and Reach because Hightowers are from there themselves.. Stormlands would've given their support to anyone who married them .. but yes i agree Greens had lower support in terms of numbers but more powerful ones .. so it was equal anyways .. GrrM is such a brilliant writer, gave one the bigger number of houses but the weaker ones and other the smaller number but more powerful ones

I have a theory. There’s the saying in GOT that the Iron Throne spurns the ruler of the 7 kingdoms who is “unworthy” or “unfit” to be ruler by cutting them. I’m rewatching the House of the Dragon and noticed something. In the 1st episode in the beginning, we see Rhaenyra entering the throne room with Daemon sitting on the iron throne. Even though it was for a small timeframe from when Daemon was sitting on the Iron Throne, the throne did not cut or nick him. It’s a long shot, but my theory is that Daemon is the rightful ruler of the 7 kingdoms.
