Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down House Of The Dragon.

The new season 2 trailers just hit the websteros and the series is debuting this summer on Sky TV. You can head over to Sky TV to see it if you haven't had a chance yet but we're gonna be breaking it all down and going through it frame by frame. This is gonna cover easter eggs, things from the book and also where we think that the series might go. However I'm gonna keep the big spoilers to a minimum so there'll not be any character deaths discussed here. We have a big breakdown discussing Blood and Cheese which if you wanna know then head over there after this. However that's gonna...thats gonna ruin the show mate so I'll not just drop what happens with it in this video.

Aegon and Aemond are victims of being born to a father/king that neglected them. A mother that is a Looney religious hypocrite and a grandfather/hand of king that likely only sees them as political pawns for his own designs... oh and an older sister that doesnt give a fuck about them simply because her father fucked her best friend after losing his wife, sorry, killing his wife chasing after some obsession of his for a male heir. Really it seems like nobody liked those two fuckers from the get go. cant really blame them all that much for turning out the way they did. If anything they are the Cosmic Karma that viserys, rhaenyra and all of house Targaryens closest associates conjured for themselves. their doom lol.

@@jbr6371what laws are you referring to? Men ruling was not law; it was only TRADITION because…misogyny. If it was law, then Rhaenys wouldn’t have been considered at the Great Council of 101 (in the show).

@carastone3473 actually she wasn't considered by the council in the book. She was already passed over by Jahaerys when her father died. The council chose between Viserys and Laenor. That said it wasn't just tradition. It was precedent. Legally that has weight. And it isn't misogyny. It comes down to inheritance laws. When a woman marries she takes her husband's name. So say Sansa inherits Winterfell and then marries Tyrion. House Lannister would replace the Starks.

Unlikely considering Ned is the second born so his father might not said it to him. Ned ignored the deserter warning of white walkers indicating he just viewed them as myths. He is not the one who convinced Jon to go the wall. There are also multiple stances of child heirs(too young to be told) and/or spare becoming the heir(they might not been told) not to mention Torrhen Stark might just have dismissed it as Valyrian arrogance and delusion of grandeur.

In Switzerland it's also Sky that hosts all HBO shows. HBO makes it unreasonably difficult to get access outside the US. I used to have to pirate GOT in the early days cause they literally left me no choice.

The show doesn’t do anything different by showing that Aemond regretted it. You never get his true POV in the books. I think they are 100% accurate to the books and that it was always intended that Aemond didn’t mean to. After the deed is done, Aemond isn’t the type of guy to say it was by mistake, he’s the type of guy who will stand on that mistake as if he meant to do it. When he makes it back to Kings Landing Aegin throws him a feast for what happened. Again, do you really think it’s in his character to say he didn’t mean to do it and that it was an accident?? Absolutely not. Not sure why some book readers have a hard time grasping that. In the books it doesn’t even show what happens between Luke and Aemond in the sky! We just get the reports of what happened between them at Storms End and Aemond was reported to leave right after Luke and obviously got the reports of Luke being killed afterwards because pieces of the dragon are found by small folk

Imagine being 15-20 thousand feet in the air on a dragon. Then meeting your death up there from another dragon. I would love an outcome where he survives in the Ocean but that’s a far drop. They say never aim for water because it’s like concrete so he’d probably die anyways if he wasn’t already eaten. They say land on trees or a roof of a house. Yet I don’t want to be stabbed by debris either. I’d go head first into the water and meet my maker to be honest. 😦 Also, I jumped out of airplanes in the Army and I’ll never do it again 😂

Aegon threw a party in the book when Aemond became a kinslayer...loves child fighting and r*pe...sorry guys but THIS guy....certanly shouldnt have fans...the fact that he has is disturbing :D I can love him as a villain....but nothing more :D
