I've binged watched a whole bunch of your videos today. Simply amazing. Instantly subscribed and will support you as best I can. I agree with you that the tempo is slow for my taste and I'm curious though what do you consider the original. The House of the Rising Sun is a folk song with no known author. It's something like hundred years old and has been recorded hundreds of times in Blues, Jazz, Country, R&B and Folk versions. Just curious what your favorite is.

Perry, somewhere in UK . The House of the Rising Sun has been my all time favourite, EVER,. This being from when I first heard it at my youth club in the 60’s when the Animals released it. Never in a million years thought I would ever hear another version to match, But. ‘I just have’ and, this so different from the Animals version and with the video makes your version unique.. Love it! Absolutely love it!

Bob Dylans version is better in my opinion. And he took the lyrics from a girl singer. The lyrics was originally "It's been the ruin of many a poor girl" and not "many a poor boy", which would've fitted even better when Julia sings it. Disclaimer: This is just my opinion.

I love this technique of enhancing in the video all the voices, the effects, and all that contributes to build these beautiful performances. You are a band of ten elements of which seven or eight are Julia. The white background and the clothes of Julia have an extraordinary elegance! Bravo! I sooooo LOVE it! My mom used to sing all of us kids to sleep to that song in the '70s. I am very glad you did not do the version where the guy is screaming lol. also the boot effect was very creative.
