The way Tanya empathizes with Morten is amazing. That really touched me 💚💚 It's like she lifted the weight of that guilt off him and gave him permission to feel happy and good about himself.

I’m not sure if the husband is lazy or if the wife has forced herself to be at his beck and call. She admitted to doing everything for the kids because she was afraid he would leave her. I’m sure that applies to other areas of their life. She seems extremely insecure about herself, being married, and being a parent. I believe she has many internal issues to work through.

She lost her father when she was a baby, so she married a much older man to have the father figure that she never had. It’s so obvious, isn’t it? With her medical condition, I hope he stepped up in a major way with their girls. She died about five yrs after this was filmed. Very sad.

My first instinct is also to call the older husband "lazy". But watch her closely, and he'll say, "Well, let me stay up with the girls tonight." "Let me take care of" whatever it happens to be, and SHE'LL tell him "no". Says she isn't sure "he'll do it right". Or that he'll be "okay" with doing it the way it's supposed to be done. I'm not saying things are her fault, but she does her share of undermining on her own. This is a very toxic relationship that I'm not sure is good for ANY of them. Dr Tanya definitely has her hands full with this family.

@@onlymebaby.9249 - Yes, I know that. But that shouldn't have her blocking him every time he volunteers to help with the girls. That makes no sense. She just can't let him be a dad!

@@maburg713 did I hear she was afraid he wouldn't do it right? Does he do anything? He couldn't even stand up to get himself a cookie. I know I'd be asking him what was wrong with his legs and or feet because there's something wrong with my ears. Definitely not lol. That poor woman.

@@onlymebaby.9249 He was in his early 60’s when the girls were born. How involved did she realistically think he was going to be at that age? A 4 decade age difference is 3 decades too much! There’s no doubt that she married Larry bc her father died when she was two, so she married a father figure. Sad.

Mother is trying to get coats for the twins and then her husband is not able to get biscuits for himself so she has to. She has 3 to attend to, poor darling.

I found out this week that he was a drummer who was friends with Keith Moon and George Harrison. He was in the Bonzo Dogs Doodah Band. His stage name is Legs Larry Smith. I watched several interviews with him on KZfaq. I totally see the 60s celebrity in this episode.

Can't hear the woman talking who's helping. I even have on ear buds turn up, hoping it will help but when the kids start crying they bust my eardrums. I really want to watch this!

I know I just griped about it earlier. They should reverse volumes put kids in background and narrator in the fore. We just need to see the kids misbehave it's the narrator were interested in hearing. Please to the producers of these videos.

That painting party looked like so much fun! Martin is SUCH a good sport... and the adorable Connor is the sweetest little boy. Kim is a star. She is making such a great effort to make things better for her children. Hope all these families did well going forward.

@@signwithwilfred5689 Other than it being sudden, I really don't know. The assumption is it had to do with her epilepsy. The twins were raised by lazy Larry but they look like morose teens in any pics i've seen.

Kim is amazing. Obviously she loves her kids. She is giving this 100%. She’s definitely my favorite. The twins dad is awful, hopefully Tanya straightens him out. Love this show and despite my comment about the twins dad, I pass zero judgment on anyone here. They are obviously here because they love their kids. Wish them all well.

All the child tantrums come through crystal clear on volume 10. Never seem to have any trouble with sound mixing. But the host is talking? Muffle and crank the background music to 10

I disagree with Tanya’s advice to tickle Latisha and hold her close all the time. It can be very smothering. Does anyone really like to be tickled? It’s considered to be a form of abuse, actually.

It's unbelievable how stinking lazy this guy is 15:20 ! he lets his wife serve him from back to front, doesn't support her one bit regarding the kids and besides I think that in the conversations with Tanja he says exactly what everyone wants to hear, just to have his peace to be able to do afterwards anyway only what he feels like doing and that's nothing! and then these pants and sandals ?! Really? so I would not even let my husband go into the basement, that's horrible. she should see that she gets rid of this guy, sometime he will go anyway and the sooner she separates emotionally and spatially from him, the better.

He outlives her. She passed away a few years after this was filmed. He raised the twins and is alive to this day.

Oh I agree! The wife is afraid Larry will leave her. He's so pompous and self involved and entitled. He's such a cliche. I can't stand him. A gin and tonic in a to-go cup? As a matter of fact, for whatever reason I'm finding it difficult to like any of these people this week! Just being honest but the kids nor the parents impress me like others in previous weeks. I never had to turn the volume down over and over with the previous families like this. Loud miserable brats with absent minded, dead-faced parents. Maybe it gets better.

She has epilepsy, and lack of sleep makes her fits much worse. Tanya said during one recent week she had 21 total. TWENTY-ONE. And he won't get his own damn crackers. Did you also hear him say "I think you might have to do their sleep tonight....."

She has a seizure disorder and had a recent seizure.

I think the doctor said it happened during an epileptic seizure.
