I wish David had just told Sammi if she wanted to go home then off she go and then carried on to the Go-Karts. Do you think Sammi would have left the house with David gone and she's sitting there with her 4 children? It's too much thought and arranging for her to go home on her own. You need to stop talking to Sammy and put her in her place. You keep giving her excuses and letting her do whatever she wants. Why do you have to talk to her and explain why she needs to take care of her 4 children ??? Nothing needs to be talked about . Just take care of your kids Sammy. It's nice to see Sammi got her own way and David's go-kart excursion was canceled. I watched the most uninspired game of Simon Says ever but it's nice Sammi disconnected that piano that's tied to her derriere and went out to made an effort. Watching Paul and Becca I could not help but feel sad for their little family. Paul loves his little girl and appears to love Becca too but if he isn't what she wants Becca should not feel obligated to spend her life as his significant other. I could see the pain on normally poker-faced Paul and felt for the lad. But watching Becca cry those tears - if she truly feels how she expressed to psychologist, then make the break and make Paul 100% welcome in his daughter's life so long as he remains responsible with his little girl. Good luck and God Bless to them. Something about how this show plays out is rather lackluster. So far it's lacking that spark that previous show with Dr. Tanya Byron brought to it. There's too much focus on scrapping parents and the children are still strangers to me. It's like watching a TV sitcom where the children are always in bed and don't have a script.

I just can't get over how bad these psychologists are. Where is the empathy, the proffessionalism, the tools, the understanding for mental illness? They're two wannabe psychologists and don't even take these problems seriously. Notice how there’s pretty much nothing wrong with any of the kids’ behaviour too? I don’t feel like these families are really being helped. I feel like it’s just parading these people in front of the cameras with all their problems , let them argue and fight and then send them home. Then bring in another family with more problems to keep the show fresh and keep peoples interest. I think this is awful. I miss the old show with Dr Tonya Byron who really knew what she was doing.

Ditto. They send one family home after one day, deemed "fixed". The two main families look to be leaving in worse shape than when they arrived. Regarding birth control if things haven't greatly improved in the U.K I think they should consider going into high schools and offering girls the implantable contraception. Maybe even pay them say $100 to have it. They're too unreliable for other forms of contraceptives. Teenagers are old enough to be sexually active but often way too immature to be parents. There's such a high price (not just financial) that these situations are creating. An implantable contraceptive lasts about 3 years so at least late teens before becoming parents.

@@shez5964 that’s what the nazis did.... who are you to decide who has children? The problem isn’t the teen parents. It’s the BASIC social structure that doesn’t bother to teach young people HOW to be parents. Did you not notice the grown up parents on other shows who needed to learn too? Parental skills are *learned.* No one is born with such knowledge. So many people can’t see this social structure is EXACTLY planned this way to destroy the nuclear family. Okay it was pretty flipping sweet to watch the three dads stand outside together discussing how much little baby Jessica looks like her mom. They were all interacting with the big kids and seemed to enjoy that dynamic. Forming “Dad Groups” to go to the park or wherever with all their kids together to socialize, learn from, and support one another would be hugely beneficial - especially for the younger dads. Moms do it all the time.

All I want to say to Sammy is just suck it up! get over it, just do it . They are asking you to look after your kids without David so they can help you deal with them better on your own. You know I finally understand Becca and Paul’s relationship: Becca has had to be the mom all her life and gets frustrated when Paul takes no less than like 20-15 minutes!!! Becca also feels as though she has to do everything but that’s not true because unlike Sammy who doesn’t get her rear end up and do things, Paul is in school still!!!!Becca doesn’t give Paul a chance to talk so Paul doesn’t open up!!!! Becca doesn’t understand that what she says hurts Paul and so Paul comes back at her!!! When Becca said I don’t love him Paul felt like he was being abandoned again because he lost his mother and that’s basically like he’s losing his daughter now!!! So I think Paul and Becca just came from bad situations as young children, Becca feels like she has to do everything even though paul is still in school, and because Paul doesn’t open up, Becca doesn’t know that she is hurting him and Paul doesn’t know that he is hurting Becca!!! I hope they mended their relationship and that Lacy actually had good sleep patterns and felt like she had two lovely parents

I agree. The doc's are not the problem. It's the producers who chose these people who are beyond help. Their problems are not so much their kids but rather, the parents are disturbed adult children. Very dysfunctional adults who aren't emotionally suited for the level of care offered here. The producers either had no one better to cast OR intentionally put trainwrecks on TV.

In defense of the therapists this is the youngest batch of parents they've had and the largest batch of children. All of them are teen parents so essentially everyone in the house, with the except of David and Danielle (who was extraordinarily mature for her age) are children. It's like herding cats. Impossible! And then they changed the formatting of all the families coming on the same day and staying for the same amount of time. I don't think even Tanya could have saved this and maybe that's why she's not on this season.
