Great tips! Can definitely agree with all of them. My mom is the ultimate party planner and I’ve learned a lot from her. No catering ever… she and my dad cook all the food, deserts, etc. They even bought a fire pit for s’mores, movie projector for outdoor movies. Long as there’s good food, drinks and entertainment the party will be a hit.

This is my goal! To be the bomb wife that throws great parties in my big home😂

My budget is modest but we always have food (NYC loves Caribbean food-beef patties, oxtail, curry and rice & peas), big speakers streaming music, lots of booze and hookah. Hookah is so popular my bro brings his and I have mine and people are sitting around tables socializing and smoking by the end of the night. But I have to try tacos. Next time.
