Wow this was amazing. We enjoyed it to the very last scene. The guy operating the demolition machine was a master operator. Tearing that house apart was like breaking up a cookie. It was nice to have commentary along with the pictures; the drone added a lot too. Well done.

New viewer, AND subscriber here! I ran across your stuff in the suggestion column on KZfaq since it knows I watch demo vids. When I learned you're in the same area as I am (North Naples east of 75), I had to check it out. There are just so many great things to mention about you and your company! I think it's great you care enough to salvage stuff that still has life in it and hope that people that buy it get a good value for the $. The video work is amazing. I've watched so many demo videos where the videographer just holds a phone or maybe a camcorder and just zooms in on the excavator or the like, wraps it up and posts an hour long video. This stuff is much better. Using many cameras, AND a drone? wow. I've never seen an overhead shot of a house being eaten by a giant claw! I generally don't like background muzak during periods of dialog, but you keep it clean and low. Only thing is that after you handed off to just video, you didn't bring the volume up a bit. I liked that synth/drum and bass stuff! You're a good guy and would like to meet you sometime! Nice work!

A favorite cheat in the 80's was to get tie beam and block cell inspections and then cover the block cells with the tin cans to save 2-5 yards of concrete. Remember everything was the "low bidder" and that money had to come from somewhere. The ones that had inspection holes at the slab level would just hit a couple of ugga chugga pump strokes to make the concrete appear and then shut off the block cell. Only the tie beam was poured.

I hate to say this but, you lost me on the large reinforced concrete beams on top of the perimeter walls. I thought you said those concrete beams can’t be crushed & recycled by a concrete recycling company/ facility. If you did say that the part I missed is why a concrete recycling facility can’t handle those beams or doesn’t want to. I’m in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. To the best of my understanding I believe the C & D material here is handled the same way as Florida does. Depending on the age and type of structure, a very old residential building could have a stone foundation & if it’s in bad shape & not considered to be repairable or whoever is having it replaced will get the foundation dug out & the material gets recycled/ used to make concrete or the material is removed & repurposed. I think your company is doing a great job & keep up the great work. I love watching your videos, very informative, interesting & great content.

you might be missing the boat. those pilings if not rotten are most likely the highest rated pressure treated wood and could be reused possibly in docks and for sure in other parts of the country for cattle fence and gate posts as well as fresh water docks and pole barns and such. send a semi load to a large rural auction and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Water and heat equals mold…in the drywall, in the studs, in the concrete block, under the paint, in the roof…. With no electricity after the high water flood…no way to ventilate and dry out…. The value of the labor and materials is cost prohibitive. THEN if you rebuild. You have to meet the new building codes…house on pilings only….easy 100k. Then you have to build the house 250k minimum…. Is more effective to tear it down.

As an add on comment, my friend lives in Cape Coral 1/4 Mike from the Ft Meyers river….he got 6 ft of storm swell or surge. We came over 2 days later and removed all drywall, insulation, furniture, flooring…..anything that would hold water. And still he got black mold in part of his house because the concrete walls are simply a “hard sponge”. Drywall and insulation re-installation 25k. Mold remediation 24k and that was a cheap contractor. We paid cash because the insurance companies were very slow about compensation. If we had gone thru permitting we would still be waiting to do the work. AND there is still a huge boat in his back yard from a neighbor who DOSNT have the money to remove it. 30 to 40k NO ONE I KNOW IS “ DAMN LAZY”. Just short on cash and time. Have a nice day!😁😁😁😁
