I know this, keep in mind I try to get immersed as the character so yes I often say things with complete disregard for the game mechanics

I finally got CK3 AGOT. I started as House Tarly. A few years in my wife gets murdered. A couple years later, I learn that SAM TARLY murdered her (his mother). I don't know what's right anymore. I proceeded with a long, prosperous life, then died, and my very capable 2nd son took over and was IMMEDIATELY incapable. The incapable trait ALWAYS happens for my characters - why??????

That's a crazy chain of events lol! I rarely get the trait recently but there are game settings to reduce this if you feel you are getting it too much
