Like the house, its a local type house open and and have a veranda like the island, where you can sit and get the natural breeze instead of air candition. All natural for the tropical life style. Lovely house. Beautiful couple As the husband says, he would have done a lot of things differently. I do understand that statement. I would have also changed up a whole lot of things too for the interior including big windows to let in good natural lighting. But Mariam did what she could and we thank God for that

Marian is preventing her husband from making her home look modern. She prefers basic because she hasn't been outside Kenya. Her husband wants to make his home look like the ones he's used to in the UK. But he lets Mirian decide. You can sense when he says I prefer to do it this way but Mirian wants it a certain way .

I think you should have considered the color your daughter wanted. She is a girl. She wants pink and loves it. Personally I would let my kids enjoy choosing colors and even help in decorating their rooms. Anyway, that's just my opinion.
