This house is gorgeous and well thought out! I HATE seeing big homes that waste space with "bonus" rooms/niches/etc that you have to figure out what to do with. The finishes are beautiful and the decor impeccable! I'd live there too! 🥰

No kidding on the "detail, detail, detail"! There is so much to appreciate in this house. The foyer...oh, my, even the print they chose...so much pizazz! The hidden doors...yes please. The stainless steel kick plates?? Wow! I need those. I could go on and on. Like she said "detail, detail, detail".

wow. even though the first floor seems small, the thoughtful creative design, space planning with the furniture layout and the lavish finishes more than compensate for less space. The lovely linen and soft neutral tones brighten the space. The master ensuite immediately made me think of a luxurious European flat. One of the best design from House & Home and worthy of being featured. Finally great design!

This is by far one of the best work I've seen of any design house!! They took the bones of the property to a completely new level of amazing. Just the walls, ceiling and flooring alone is enough to turn any head...... then you add the stunning detailed pieces 😍👌🏽. Fabulous work 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

No fam. My absolute inspo for my home is Eyeswoon's This is far from Athena Calderone's style. As a matter of fact, this is bordering on gawdy. This designer is not subtle, I get that.

@@nnedwards3260 While I don't agree with the way you have chosen to critique this place and its designer, I will say that no it's not Athena's style. This house has its own style in its own right. There are touches here and there of the house itself and design choices that remind me of the Eyeswoon house. The floors, fireplaces, kitchen layout, the shapes of some furniture pieces etc.

This was a nice overhaul renovation. I just wish they kept a few things from the original 1912 home like the wood burning fireplace.

I concur. I think it was a very heavy handed renovation. That original wood burning fireplace was so charming. I think it looks like a slick new build condo now that will be dated and passé within a decade. And that's being generous.

Very elegantly designed, not for everyone though, you must have good taste and good eye for quality to appreciate this style. I love the art deco vibe, and think the crown molding recessed details look amazing, the hidden doors are exquisite. Thank you!

What I really like about this home is, it's so clean and simple and not cluttered, I like how she took the outdated item out renovated them. But the trick is not to have clutter in your home

Now this is design! This design took my breathe away!...This is not even my style, but I loved every inch of this home. Truly a masterful design!...Anyone thinking of moving from a smaller to a larger home should probably visit this design first! So many of these ideas can be implemented in the most common of houses. Great job!
