HGTV star Leanne Ford knows a thing or two about renovating. When she approached her latest project, her own home in Pittsburgh, PA, her goal was to keep it simple. Ford's first order of business, after replacing the plumbing and electrical? Drenching the entire midcentury house in her signature shade of paint (PPG's Pure White). From there, she filled the home with sculptural furniture that doubled as art and plenty of natural elements. Above, Ford gives us an exclusive tour of her home and a look at her favorite details. My home is very similar. For those of you with families, that you worry about the all white, I have leather couches instead of white and this aesthetic still works. And it doesn't have to be modern style. I have a French/English cottage style, and I painted all of my frilly frames white. It still works.

I love it very much. White and white and more white combined with light wooden floors and furniture. Love the master bedroom, the lights above the kitchen island. This home has a Greek island boutique hotel feeling. The black steel doors are an eye catcher. Breathtaking. But definitely a home for adults.

Loved it! The white palette,are enhancing the view of the gorgeous trees outside visible thru the massive glass doors. Imagine,being in Pittsburg that the snow in the winter is equally impactful.Enjoyed natural feel,wood and white👍🏽

Why do people bash on all white designs? It's just personal preference and quite honestly, for someone like a designer who spends all day every day looking at swatches and patterns this kind of simple style is probably the perfect thing to have in their own home. Just because you can't understand the reasoning behind the design or aren't able to maintain a place like that, doesn't mean it isn't pretty...

I love Leanne's work, and there is a lot I love about this home. I adore white walls, but I don't think I've ever seen a home with both white walls and white floors that I have liked. I just don't like the feeling that the rooms don't seem grounded when the floors are also white. Maybe it's just personal taste, because I don't often see anyone else make the same comment.

It feels different when you're in room because you're missing the differences in the whites the texture lighting. It's different in person.
