Nowadays pretty much every serious, un-ironic “life hack” video is this. Except these are intentionally stupid, the others are supposedly “legit” life hacks. There are some stupid ones that show you how to make things that you can get from the dollar store if you absolutely need, like a hot glue gun that’ll burn your house down, but even the cheap Chinese gasoline scented plastic of the dollar store items is 1000% more safe and better than making it yourself

1. “Why is this trending?” - because it’s silly, creative, and many people enjoy this channel. 2. “These are stupid/pointless/I’ve seen better hacks” - it’s meant to be pointless and they aren’t meant to be good hacks. Please read the title again. Check out his other videos because his actual hacks are great but I really love the “over-complicated” series.
