I think the actress of Cuddy couldnt work on the set anymore so they had to split up. also for at least the last two seasons writers changed which showed . Everything went overboard with dramatics and it lost its coherence in many aspects. The way he drove into cuddys house or sabotaged the MRI was absolutely not House and the ending with the imo really cheap Sherlock Holmes /Moriarity implication was also as subtle as a Will Ferell comedy. Still we got at least 6 high level seasons out of House and the 7th also had some good moments.

This is great video because it gets SLIGHTLY closer to the truth of narcissists/psychopaths/OCPD than a normal House episode. They aren't always smarter than anyone else. They may even have dumber, worse ideas and create bigger, lumbering problems, but this video at least highlights the selfishness, overstepping of boundaries, denial that their behavior is problematic to the person setting boundaries, and now "hoovering" aka pretending to care so that they can sink their hooks back into the person who is trying to cut the psychopath out of their lives. I LOVE the show House, though, lol. It's silly and absurd and I have learned things about biology that ended up being true. There is even truth that entertaining little to no empathy for others can keep the mind free of distractions to focus on solving individual problems. However, Almost always these personality disorders are based in fear and insecurity of losing control of others... like a really messed up sense of FOMO.
@jorriffhdhtrsegg

Ocpd? Don't think that's meant to be there, those aren't traits of that, just narcissism in fact. OCPD is a high regard for rule, pattern, beurocracy in a sense and inability to experience life without order and control, it may involve narcissism or manipulating (what mental disorder doesn't have that possibility, for ocpd it may be pedantry or rule enforcement) but it may rather be isolating/avoiding or a ln unwarranted/arbitrary/unsolicited adherence to an 'authority', inability for originality, NOT an understanding of emotions, thinking almost algorythmically, difficulty in manipulating others...its explocitly fearful. Obviously it can follow OCD traits too. House is opposite of OCPD. There are other characters who have a 'bit' of this, but house is completely unrestrained!

Once you realize that you do the show and everyone who worked on it a great disservice by continuing to watch the clips instead of the show. I wish I didn't do that with the Mentalist.

They destoryed what House and Cuddy could've had. I get it that Lisa wanted to leave due to salary but they could've did something better

I have to sometimes wonder if actors ever question the wisdom of their agents. It was clear in the Season 7 finale that the Cuddy character was going to become less important in what they all knew was going to be the final season. In fact, I really don’t know how the writers were going to believably keep her in the storyline. So she wants a big raise? Instead, she’s out of a job making zero from House MD. Doesn’t sound very smart to me.

It’s not that she wanted a raise. Her salary was going to be cut some so Olivia could be paid more in order to keep her on the series. I can’t blame Lisa for leaving.

@@sarcasticallyrearranged Olivia was committed to her rising film star career. No way she was going to continue to be a series regular in Season 8.

Vibrator - a device that helps remove trapped air in wet concrete/cement. It can also be a device that compacts subbase and similar prior to pouring a surface coating (think roads, sidewalks, similar). It can be a device that vibrates in some easy chairs.
