Eh, honestly, for me personally, I think he lacks energy. I don't have anything against the man at all, but he always seems unprepared to me or something. Not as smooth or together in his delivery as other NBA reporters. Stutters and stumbles a lot, looks down at his notes a lot, and doesn't have a natural speaking manner for the camera. Feels more like a researcher than a reporter or presenter. Ain't mad at the brotha's success, though. Hope he keeps doing well and gets better over more time. I just don't feel that energy, I guess. On OKC Harden came off the bench, which is what I believe Russ should do now. Both Harden & Russ are tertiary options after Kawhi & PG. It's more reason that they both have to be able to Shoot, but Russ isn't & has never been a good 3pt shooter, so to get what he has to offer rather than him turn into a weak link in the starting lineup he should come off the bench.

There’s even an interview back in the day where he said he’s good at exploiting the rules, and that it’s part of the game. Combine that with playing for Mike D’Antoni, and you’ve got the makings of a stat padding machine. Funny how that nearly always disappeared in the playoffs.
