Got ambushed and subsequently saved by the Chief. Complete mission. Now all marines will have a mid range primary (AR/BR/Commando) and fully armored instead of a pistol and plain clothes from when they got captured for a 50% health bonus to all marines picked up from FOBs. At the Supply cached there is a part of a transmission from a ODST platoon somewhere on the ring. Find all 7 to get coordinates of the ODSTs location and unlock a new segment of the ring. Beta Squad was looking for medical supplies. Got captured. Chief rescues them and continues their mission. Completes mission. Find a SOS elite either dead or held captive at the missions conclusion. Find Elite’s squad mates and unlock a new segment of the ring. Now that Marines can get treated you can deck out prisoner marines into armored marines and go to medic stations at FOBs to get your boys patched up. Along with a 25% accuracy from no longer being sickly from eating alien plants/mistreatment from being prisoners and 50% movement speed buff because of the Food and Medical Supplies you got. Charle Squad was sent to get nanotechnology modules so the base can actually repair and fabricate items they need. Save squad, complete mission. You can now scavenge destroyed (world only) UNSC and Banished vehicles from earlier battles to eventually get a working copy. 5 ghost wrecks to get 1 functional ghost from brohammer and so on. You can now also repair your vehicle at FOBs. Idk why I got carried away there for a moment.

There were 24 SoS operatives aboard the UNSC Infinity. This gives us a good reason to add Elites and an Elite campaign. That’s what I want. Either an Elite campaign or an ODST campaign. Considering how short the campaign is, this should be something you get just from buying the base campaign. Imo, base campaign is great, but not worth $60 as it is. I’d love the option to fail at things, like you mentioned here
